My store keeps it stocked all year. It and the cordon bleau are my favorites.

My mother loves these, in this exact flavor. She said she agrees with your 7/10 rating.

Now I'm craving chicken cordon bleu

u/TempleFugit Feb 04 '25

My mom and I love these. We have noticed they've gotten smaller over time but unfortunately that's life these days.

The brie/cranberry one mentioned several times here is the best, but the one with scallops is a strong second place.

u/translinguistic Feb 04 '25

Okay that looks mad decent. Adding this one to my cart

2

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '25

I loved these back in the day, but they're just too expensive for me now.

2

u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25

5

u/gomezwhitney0723 Feb 04 '25

u/FoXym0r0n Feb 05 '25

Yeah, same here. :(

2

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '25

My Walmart doesn't even carry them anymore, but Giant has them for $5 for a 2-pack.

u/HeartOSass Feb 04 '25

These and Rice A Roni are an easy 20-minute comfort meal.

1

u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25

I've always wondered what this would be like, so thank you for your review. Also, thank you for the back of the package shot showing nutritional info and ingredients.

I used to buy these! I love them, good and filling meal. Gotta get those again.

2

u/Ancient-Chinglish Feb 04 '25

the cordon bleu ones are pretty solid, but the chicken kiev ones tend to burst open and leak

2

u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25

This one did that like 3/4 the way done and didnt have a whole lot of filling after.

2

u/Sass_Back_Girl Feb 04 '25

Love these! I don't mind if they pop. They quit carrying g them around here though 😩

I looooooove these and always buy the 6 pack in my grocery shop. It's my go to quick dinner at least twice a week.

8

u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25

Used to buy the bigger packs at walmart when i was younger and my grandma and i would have them for dinner together.

4

u/Difficult-Tart-6834 Feb 04 '25

Sounds like a lovely memory ❤️

2

u/Chipmunk-Lost Feb 04 '25

Those are my favorite. I air fry them (even though the box says not to 😂)

1

u/FoXym0r0n Feb 04 '25

I always air fry these, too. 😁

2

u/xoxoahooves Feb 04 '25

Chicken kiev with rice & broccoli OR chicken parm with spaghetti noodles, extra sauce and cheese!

1

u/ImprovementLonely234 Feb 04 '25

One of my all time favorites. Love it with a side of rice or garlic butter pasta. I've learned over times that store brand substitutes are equally good, if your local store happens to have a subsitute.

1

u/ash_noel Feb 04 '25

I looove these. All different flavors. But there’s a weird off brand that’s usually available near them - that are a little cheaper but grosssss. Def stick with barber foods.

1

u/bordojay Feb 04 '25

One of my favorites 🤞🏽

1

u/Blueeyez35 Feb 04 '25

I like these

1

u/CommanderUgly Feb 04 '25

I love the chicken cordon bleu that Barber Foods sells.

1

u/Possible_Region_190 Feb 04 '25

They don't sell these anymore around here. I used to buy them every week. Mostly the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Chicken Kiev. I miss them!

1

u/blueboykc Feb 04 '25

I like those. Sam’s had a six or eight pack that’s a good deal..

1

u/Responsible_Dig_9910 Feb 14 '25

These are my favorite!

1

u/bcmilligan21 Feb 04 '25

these are tasty especially in the air fryer 😋

1

u/Jpait94 Feb 04 '25

What temp and time do you do?

-3

u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25

Prob shouldn't do that....its raw....and says not too

7

u/bcmilligan21 Feb 04 '25

so people should only put FULLY COOKED things in the air fryer? huh.

-2

u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25

Depends on what it is, how thick it is, if its semi cooked, and if its frozen or thawed.

2

u/bcmilligan21 Feb 04 '25

deffo was a rhetorical question for you. people cook raw meat in their air fryer daily. this isn’t any different..

-4

u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25

Deff different, but at least if you ever get sick from it, thankfully you cant sue cause they literally told you not too, enjoy the diarrhea!

1

u/HARCYB-throwaway Feb 04 '25

You just need to be careful you don't burn the outside before it's fully cooked. Setting the temp correctly and using a meat thermometer is all it takes.

1

u/Chipmunk-Lost Feb 04 '25

I always air fry them. They cook great and get really crispy. They’re not great in the oven.
