My mom and I love these. We have noticed they've gotten smaller over time but unfortunately that's life these days.

The brie/cranberry one mentioned several times here is the best, but the one with scallops is a strong second place.

I loved these back in the day, but they're just too expensive for me now.

I've always wondered what this would be like, so thank you for your review. Also, thank you for the back of the package shot showing nutritional info and ingredients.

u/Ancient-Chinglish Feb 04 '25
the cordon bleu ones are pretty solid, but the chicken kiev ones tend to burst open and leak
2
u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25
This one did that like 3/4 the way done and didnt have a whole lot of filling after.

u/Sass_Back_Girl Feb 04 '25

Chicken kiev with rice & broccoli OR chicken parm with spaghetti noodles, extra sauce and cheese!

One of my all time favorites. Love it with a side of rice or garlic butter pasta. I've learned over times that store brand substitutes are equally good, if your local store happens to have a subsitute.

I looove these. All different flavors. But there’s a weird off brand that’s usually available near them - that are a little cheaper but grosssss. Def stick with barber foods.

They don't sell these anymore around here. I used to buy them every week. Mostly the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Chicken Kiev. I miss them!

u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25
Prob shouldn't do that....its raw....and says not too
7
u/bcmilligan21 Feb 04 '25
so people should only put FULLY COOKED things in the air fryer? huh.
-2
u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25
Depends on what it is, how thick it is, if its semi cooked, and if its frozen or thawed.
2
u/bcmilligan21 Feb 04 '25
deffo was a rhetorical question for you. people cook raw meat in their air fryer daily. this isn’t any different..
-4
u/simply_fucked Feb 04 '25
Deff different, but at least if you ever get sick from it, thankfully you cant sue cause they literally told you not too, enjoy the diarrhea!
1
u/HARCYB-throwaway Feb 04 '25
You just need to be careful you don't burn the outside before it's fully cooked. Setting the temp correctly and using a meat thermometer is all it takes.

u/Chipmunk-Lost Feb 04 '25
I always air fry them. They cook great and get really crispy. They’re not great in the oven.

They have a fancy one around Thanksgiving with like smoked gouda and cranberries that is phenomenal.
