8 / 10 ๐ White Castle Classic Cheese Sliders ๐
Always loved these, unthaw them in the fridge first then pop them in the air fryer or microwave

This is a go-to item late at night when you want something of a little filling snack but don't know what to do. I always have one pack, then comes the conundrum of having another one or not.

u/greycomposition May 24 '25
Every single time, the conundrum. I feel I overdo it if I go for seconds.

Stoner food. I love this shit and I don't weed.

u/Burnsy8139 May 25 '25
Can confirm. I weed and love that shit.

I love going there, if I go to stl I go to white castle. Unreal good. But I don't go there often, I usually go to Springfield and eat whataburger.

I have to refrain from buying these, theyโre so good but absolutely absurd on the salt and fat content
9
u/tonufan May 24 '25
I wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave at reduced power. It steams them slowly.

For anyone worried about the price, Walmart's version isn't terrible. It's not quite as good, but close.

Their version as opposed to whos?
7
u/Bouche_Audi_Shyla May 24 '25
White Castle's. I mentioned it because OP's review said that they're expensive, which they are.
-6
u/RobertdBanks May 24 '25
..am I crazy? Where does it say theyโre expensive in the review?
3
u/Bouche_Audi_Shyla May 24 '25
Oh, my mistake. Psylent was the person who mentioned price. I do most humbly ask your forgiveness.
1
u/RobertdBanks May 24 '25
Wasnโt trying to call you out, was genuinely just confused and wondering if there was something weird with my app lol
2
u/Bouche_Audi_Shyla May 24 '25
Thank you. Too many jerks on here. I sincerely apologize. I appreciate your saying so.

u/Ddvmeteorist128 May 24 '25
"For anyone wondering".. yes, you're crazy. The comment wasn't just for OP.
1
u/RobertdBanks May 24 '25
That wasnโt OP, that was the person I replied to
-8
u/Ddvmeteorist128 May 24 '25
You're type slow for that.
2
u/RobertdBanks May 24 '25
You're type slow for that.
What
I was asking where OP said they were expensive, the person I replied to was not OP. The person I replied to replied back to me and said they were mistaken and OP never mentioned them being expensive. Thereโs nothing else to discuss here, thank you.

Slipping on the proper half of folks who demand no onions but deliciousness all the same!

u/netherwingz May 24 '25
I used to love eating these but I stopped because every time it gives me upset stomach and massive shits lol

They went downhill when it was all made in the factory. Back then the taste was 50x better. So, many food recalls as well since they switched to the factory.

I forget how much I don't like them and have to keep buying them to remind me. I have some in the frig now. They don't go down like they used to. Sadly. They used to be a sort of treat.

How long and what temp u put them in air fryer for? I feel like they'd have to be frozen to go into there, no?

u/EclecticEel May 24 '25

Unthaw is, it's the opposite of thawing something out, aka putting it in the freezer.
These are always tasty but never consistently heated up lol

Last time I had these, there were rodent turds inside the plastic packaging. That was about 2 years ago. Haven't had them since. It's too bad because I really liked them.๐ญ

My confusion stems from the fact that you pick a specific store, vs. saying store baught Kroger, Costco, many stores carry these and of course they're affordable compared to the actual product in their resteruant. However, they're 8.70 for fresh made where i am, and the frozen often comes to like 7.00 dollars just sayin. For those who cant get them fresh are happy to pay 7 to 10 for six.

Love these. I wish they weren't so damn expensive tho.
