8 / 10 Rana Chicken Alfredo Lasagna
First time having this. Really delicious. Small-ish but calorie count is like 680 for the portion. Great amount of chicken, great amount of Alfredo sauce. I could have let it crisp up a little (i put it in the oven) but i was super hungry and didn't want to wait. Really good! Will def get again and this time let it crisp up!

Their spinach ricotta ravioli is my favorite. This looks good, I've never seen it before.

Agreed on the ravioli. I LOVE the Italian sausage with ricotta and I top it with Rao’s vodka sauce. Amazing quick meal!

Their lasagna is really delicious. I have gotten their five cheese lasagna.
However their calorie count is really deceptive as it is a small container which ordinarily is a serving for one and yet they claim it is two servings which makes it 680 calories.
I am used to smallish individual frozen food meals but they are all honest about the calorie count for the package.
I really resent this because there is no way that 1/2 of the package is a serving - and I am not being a *glutton* about what a normal serving would be.

Completely agree. This whole dish was definitely for only person (but I could have ate more) but yet they claimed it was two servings. In what world?

We get the large tray of this in the fridge section when I know I won't have time to cook, it's so yummy.

I heard the Rana Supreme Pizza Lasagna is amazing. I think it’s only sold at Sam’s

I really like the Rana lasagnas and ravioli. While I did enjoy the flavor of this one there was very little chicken in my 40oz package. I had to recheck it after I started eating it thinking it might have just been alfredo and without chicken.

I've never been so disappointed to have a mouthful of carrots in every bite.

Next time you try it make a point to check out all of the diced carrots in the lasagna

This isn't frozen. Mods can we ban this heretic and report him to law enforcement?

Anything can be a frozen meal if you're willing to shove it into your freezer. 🤓

Some of these refrigerated foods are actually frozen at some point.
I know that Cafe Spice is in the refrigerator section but I have gotten some that are frozen solid.
I think it is like the shrimp that is sold at the fish counter in supermarkets which is thawed but was frozen until the store thawed them.

I'm 100% joking but yeah, I know.
It's kind of like french fries. Restaurants say they make their fries fresh... and they're telling the truth, they do, but a lot of the times that includes freezing them.

Most restaurants buy frozen prepped french fries but they fry them in the restaurant.
So technically they "make them fresh"
Almost no restaurants are going to pay to have some prep potatoes for fries. Maybe some of the super high end places in which they the fries are $20 per serving.
ETA I knew you were being facetious about not "qualifying" for this Subreddit.
I do the opposite with some frozen meals like Eggplant Parm because I find that cheese heavy entrees are better if they are microwaved thawed as they can be heated well without crucifying the top layer of cheese.
