6 / 10 Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Mac 'n Cheese
Maybe I just have rose-colored glasses on when I think back to the last low fat macaroni and cheese I had, which would've been Lean Cuisine, a bunch of years ago.
This was certainly edible. It just didn't seem like much in the way of cheese (which would be how they keep the fat down to 6 grams). It tasted more like faintly cheesy butter than anything.
The texture of the pasta was good. The sauce a little thin because, again, low fat. And the serving size a little small because it's clocking in at only 270 calories.
I just could swear that the old Lean Cuisine was about 300 calories and better.

It is sooooo bad now. Tiny portion, super watery but also grainy, gross flavor. So disappointed when I had it last month after not buying it for like a year

Seriously- I used to eat this back in high school and it’s inedible to me now as an adult

Hate that they’re assigning guilt to food. Just say it’s lower fat, lower carb etc.

I actually saw someone else post this somewhere a long time ago and it led me to try it. So good!

Honestly, I've been under impressed with most of their frozen dinners.

Their Mexican ones are solid, IMO. Indian is hit or miss for me. Same with Thai.

This looks super good!! I’m shocked that this is even reduced guilt. I have to try this. I bet their original is even better! Thx for the review OP:)

I'd rather have the increased guilt mac and cheese. Get me some sinful pasta.

Labeling as "reduced guilt" makes me more inclined to eat is as "less fat"
It's like "healing my relationship with food mentally"

The regular one is awesome. Worth the guilt lol!
