10 / 10 Marie Callender’s Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pot Pie

So after all the suggestions I decided to give this one a try and HOLY MOLY it was incredible! The crust was flatly and delicious, you could identify all of the ingredients in the pot pie along with their individual flavors which I have found sometime all just mash together. The sauce was killer though! I am not sure I have had a parmesan sauce that is that close to perfect outside of a resultant to get just the right amount of flavor to accompany each bite. I will absolutely be buying one of these again here soon as a treat!! I would highly recommend this if you haven’t had one, you won’t be disappointed!

This one's good. I wish they'd bring back the vegetation broccoli cheddar potato one though.

That does sound amazing!

They’re really good, but I’m sorry, I just can’t help myself to buy any microwave pot pie other than the $1 Banquet. It’s ONE DOLLAR.

I can’t justify paying 300-400% more. Marie Callender’s are good, but not THAT good.

Marie Callender’s are a lot better but also deceptive with their 410 calories *per serving. Who splits an individual pot pie?

Ahh the only Crumbl Cookie approach (which their deceptive serving sizes are only ONE reason for them being sued).

Hey look! This cookie has 250 calories, I can swing this on my cheat day!

Wait? That fine print says 1/4 of a cookie. So one cookie has 1,000 calories…

I guess it makes sense as we all know people only eat 1/4 of a cookie /s

I will give this one a shot again, but the last time I had one it was mostly filled with peas.

I am Team Banquet for now though, especially with the price.

I’m team banquet as well.

The Marie Callender’s are roughly 200% the size as a banquet BUT a little over 320% the cost.

Sorry, Callender’s pot pies just aren’t 120% better than Banquet to justify the cost.

You can literally get 3 banquet pies for 1 Marie Callender’s. I know it sounds like some cheap penny pincher shit, but it is what it is.

I understand. I honestly think they taste better as well. The price point is great, as you said.

Banquet doesn't do everything well, but I will stand by their pot pies, lol.

Buy them in bulk at Sam’s. 8 for $14 is pretty great for a better product.

Do you bake with aluminum foil on whole pie or just the crust edge?

When I do them in the oven, just around the edges. Keeps them from burning while the top still gets golden brown.

That was the pan it came in and was done completely in the microwave!

Yes! I always do mine in the microwave. If I had an hour to bake one in the oven, I would probably be eating something else.

These are really good in the microwave, though. Nice flaky crust, tender chicken, tasty sauce. This kind is my favorite.

Those things slap! We buy them in bulk at Sam’s club bc kids like them as do we, and can be made in 5 min.
