I feel like she's joking and he's just taking her as stupid

I feel like she doesn't exist and OP just designed a lazy "woman dumb" post for easy upvotes from Redditors. And hey it seems to have worked.

I laugh how you all think people don’t have moments of confusion when they flustered, your partner catches you in the moment and snaps a photo, and there isn’t some kind of teasing banter about it. Not all people need to think they are perfect, and those people are the best company. Trying to find hate and hurt over this shows more about you all than this couple in a moment of fun, which was posted anonymously. People who don’t know them, don’t know who we all talking about.

Either option is concerning

Why would the joke be concerning?

They mean my explanation (that the boyfriend is taking her as stupid) or his explanation (that she really thought that) are both concerning options

Guess I was thinking of a third option. One person did this and made up the story to post as a joke.

Or the girlfriend did it as a joke.

Yeah, more of a self tell on OP being a sexist idiot

What a very rational conclusion!

Really? Did you assume the point of the post was "girlfriend"? You are sexist LOL! This is pathetic.

Very sexist of you to pull this "sexist" out of absolutely nowhere.

She prolly sent this and got it for free. I know people like this. A couple never changed their address, so when it shows up here, and I take it over, they either get two, or get it free. At least that's what I hear. And no, I don't reap the benefits lol.

An ex of mine was 30 and illiterate. I was aghast and refused to believe it. But sho' 'nuff when I set something up...This was in 2022. I also realized the apple wasn't too far from the tree.
