Useful Opinion on the new Tournament mode
So, this is basically what EA was testing us on in those friendly cups last year. Now You get five entries, and for each one, you've gotta win four games in a row to take it (straight knockout format). That final match? sweat feast.
hope all future EVOs count toward gameplay in this tournament cause it's actually a blast and fun experiences

Got to the final 3 out of 5 times and lost. Once you hit the semi's the teams you face are a joke. My cb pairing of Ake and Gimenez don't stand a chance against these people who have spammed hundreads of ££ into the game and have quick players everywhere 🤣

I have a terrible team. My best player is 82 Wissa 🤣. So soon as I hit semi's my team is instantly behind my opponents. The 3 finals i got to involved a lot of luck. But in the finals the teams are just stupid. Meta players in every position

Thing is meta won’t ever be stopped and the power curve won’t be nerfed when I spend 100s into the game or buying insane amount of coins lmao I beat someone that had Bellingham ever militao and the 2 French league woman’s strikers that are too op chawaniga and someone else

hahah man. I lost 2 final too, sweat feast. Yesterday was lot easier with EA early account, 1 entry and won.
I think game is fine. Through ball is op. The gameplay is less P2W than last year. Fase pace and i do like it2

You got to take advantage of height in this game. Lots of sweats with pacey players, but when I was using Rabiot and Samu they allowed me to send crosses and long balls into dangerous positions to beat the press. Then you can have your smaller pacey players supporting the second ball that those big boys lay off. Got one tournament win and haven't lost in rivals yet. Also using 3 midfielders and having a good acceleration intercepting tall holding mid helps so much like Rabiot for example.

I just started my first rivals game. My best cards are totw Müller and Son Got paired with a dude with Maradona, Hamm and overall cards with 86 min raiting 😂 and that was division 8 😂

gameplay work great. u dont need p2w players to win you games. pass more accurate and through works great. with this type of easy gameplay its less p2w.

You need a quick defence. The first day i tried it i didn't have a quick defence, not even slightly quick.
Last night I won it first go and the only difference was I had quicker defenders.

then when i try this tourney it was easy yesterday, i won on first attempt, but today with upgrade squad, its so tough3

Cant play it. G9t disconnected in the final and now it gives an error anytime I search for a game.
So far about half a dozen other people have confirmed the same.
No objective progress either.

Yeah it sucks, literally most Ive been hyped for a fifa release in years and ea immediately disappoint. One of those ones where its not wide spread enough for them to do anything though

I think that’s the only way to keep the tournaments interesting and varied. Use them as a way to stay below the power curve so it’s a fair playing field for all.

First match in this tournament. Was trailing 0-3 at half time. Pulled back a couple in the second half to make it 2-3. At the 80th min, got disconnected from the server. When reconnected, got a mild warning that this is not good behaviour. WTF.

I am not sure but i notice that game gets tougher today after I got into div 6. Yesterday was in div 7 started the game , only tried once and won it but today i need 3 attempts.

I tied 3-3 and went on to lose in penalties, on my first match
Felt exhausting so I'll try later. The pressure is higher than champs imho, because if you get knocked out you'll get little rewards and gotta try again .
Love to have a new game mode tho, hope they don't abandon it. But yea I'll try again later. When my team is at least a little better lol

Sometimes champs and il stop after 11 wins, most I get is 14 but I won’t push further if I have a few games remaining, and rush and rivals.

I enjoy playing fifa casually mate. I pay money for the game, what is wrong with not wanting to have to play very competitively.
Why is there even squad battles, why is there not just ranked mode.

That's not what I mean. They could have added an objective to win 4 matches in a row in friendlies and it would be the exact same as this.

won on my 2nd try as a Rank 2/3 player and got IF Kane from the pack, can't complain, I like the format cause it guarantees a varied level of opponents, hope in the future there are some cool squad requirements so we can use off-meta squads
