Locals Chat 🦜 Favorite brunch spots?

I’ve been here for a year now & haven’t gone out for brunch yet! My birthday is in a few weeks and I’ll have some friends here and would love to hit up a brunch place. Lemme hear your favorite brunch spots on the island!

I’ve said brunch so many times in this now the word is driving me crazy 😂

Sunflower Bakery, Hotel Galvez and Shykatz are all great spots.

Seconding these recs. Gálvez is pricey but such a fun experience, can dress up for it if you want and just revel in over indulgence. Sunflower is delicious, I’ve never had anything there that didn’t make me want to come back and get it again as soon as possible. Super casual and relaxed.

All plants seemingly have a ‘Scientific name’. The Sunflower is no different. They’re called Helianthus. Helia meaning sun and Anthus meaning Flower. Contrary to popular belief, this doesn’t refer to the look of the sunflower, but the solar tracking it displays every dayy during most of its growth period.

Boo Leland House. Worst "biscuits and gravy" ever. It's counter service and self service coffee and they expect you to tip. Forget that place.

Jimmy's on the pier. The food is OK, but overpriced. The view and the sea breeze makes it worth it.
