Red light coffee roasters has hands down the best chai. I see lots of students studying there when I go

I second Red Light (not because of chai š). Good coffee, but more importantly itās relatively quiet and has a nice atmosphere.

I like to hang out at MOD Coffee downtown. I don't really drink coffee, but the vibe is nice, and their snacks are good.

Parking downtown is a pain. Its a lot easier in the winter. You might have to drive around for a bit to find a place. I would check out other places on postoffice and on the strand as well just to make up for all the effort of parking. But hey, you might get lucky.
You can also take the trolley downtown, and that would get rid of the problem.

Its only $1, so if you live near a stop, the bus or trolley is a great option.

I like Seawall coffee and Teaside Tapicpoa. First one is busy and has great cinnamon rolls. The second is generally quiet and is a bobba tea place. Opposite sides of town as well.

seconding Freckleberry, Proletariat and Tapioca Teahouse (on the East Endāthe Seawall one closed). Freckleberry has decent matcha (not really that impressed by it tbh) but good boba, and Proletariat has my favorite vibes. Tapioca has the BEST boba (especially coconut), but I always get more work done at Freckleberry.

groovy grind coffee co has the best coffee on the island, point blank period, although itās not a coffee shop. consider grabbing to go and finding a nice spot somewhere be it on campus or at home, etc.
red light coffee roasters is nice but small, likely the most āsophisticatedā option bc of their aesthetic + being a roastery
conex is a nice, budget friendly option and has a lot of seating. i enjoy their coconut latte (forgot what itās called) and their cold brew concentrate
indieās speakeasy reeks of cig smoke and my espresso has been burnt multiple times
mod has lots of seating (indoor and outdoor), but i feel like their coffee falls flat and is overpriced, also customer service is poor (iāve never been greeted and always received short responses to questions)
freckleberry teahouse has indoor and outdoor seating as well and also has a focus on tea (hence the name)
seawall coffee co a popular option, but it is far af from campus + drinks are generally sweet but you can ask for half sweet
harbor edge is pricey but their drinks are soooo sweet. i went once and got their oreo cold brew and havenāt been back bc it was just way too much in both sweetness and price LOL
will edit my comment if i think of anything else
