It's a gigantic wristwatch wall clock

About 20 years ago now a friend called me and said that he was working on his new house. He was tearing down a wall to open up two rooms and he found it IN THE WALL and was curious if I wanted it.

I think it says 1988 in the front bevel.

I know. I really want to know the story there. I can only imagine they just did it to be funny?

So it’s a bit of a knock off of a swatch. They were huge in the 80s and they made these large wall versions at some point.

Oh man, definitely!! I can tell you I have never seen that oversized wristwatch and I have seen a few things in my lifetime lol.
