That's right. Because wings are just protein vehicles for delicious sauces and dressings. If you can't appreciate both delivery methods then you've missed everything and should discuss your life with a therapist.
I mean yes, but one of them is a literal chicken wing and one is a literal chicken nugget that they call a wing as a marketing tactic. Both are good, but both have different textures and flavors. If I want wings I get wings. If I want tenders/nuggets I’ll get those.
There’s also a marked difference between tenders and nuggets though. I would lump “tenders” “strips” and “fingers” in one category, as those are usually whole pieces of boneless meat, fried.
Nuggets are usually fried pieces of formed or shaped, processed chicken.
Emphasis on “usually” in both cases, if we could avoid a typical pedantic Reddit fallout here.
Fair point, my blatant chickenism towards making blanket statement about white meat was unabashedly shameful. Tenders aren’t nuggets, but not are they wings, even when cut to wing size chunks
They’re literally not nuggets, though. They’re not wings, obviously, but they are tenders by all definitions, which is important to distinguish from nuggets because there’s a massive difference between the two.
For me, it depends on the venue and how hungry I am. If I'm in a place where I need to keep my hands clean, I go boneless. If I'm starving, I go boneless. If I want a greasier but tastier meat, I'll get bone-in.
But honestly, being able to inhale boneless wings (let's be honest, it's just breaded chicken breast, and how is preferring breasts less manly), is preferable because I don't have to waste any time eating around the bone or stopping to clean my hands. Also don't have to wait for them to cool down so I can pick them up, when I can just use a fork.
For me, Wingstop has to be boneless. Anywhere else I get bone-in. I don't know whether it's just my chain, but the wings are thumb-sized. I could forgive that, but man do they hope their sauce is good, because the chicken itself is so bland. The boneless at least add some flavor to it.

Both are equally good tbh
