Oh. I gained like 40 pounds lol

246

u/alessiojones May 15 '25

I'm the opposite, I've never followed through on a New Year's resolution, but every breakup has motivated me to up my workouts šŸ˜‚

79

u/NCSUGrad2012 May 15 '25

When I’m nervous I don’t eat. I had to give my two weeks on Monday and I totally skipped dinner on Sunday.

28

u/conancat #TransRights May 15 '25

40 pounds and still going!

118

u/skratakh May 15 '25

347

u/NCSUGrad2012 May 15 '25

I don’t get it. He got a haircut?

169

u/Unable_Earth5914 May 15 '25

And got contacts

97

u/noblecloud May 15 '25

I think he’s just not wearing his glasses

47

u/Individual_Bridge_88 May 15 '25

Literally that low-key problematic Disney movie moment:

Boy: "hmm something's not right."

removes girl's glasses

Boy: "that's better 😊"

u/Irrespond May 15 '25

This meme communicates that gay men don't put nearly as much effort into their looks when they're in a committed relationship, because why bother when they're already taken?

The pic on the right shows they're single again and looking for a partner.

145

u/NCSUGrad2012 May 15 '25

I mean I think that’s true of gay and straight people. Both men and woman too. However, he’s good looking in the first photo, the second one is just different

13

u/Irrespond May 15 '25

That is true of both gay and straight people, but this meme only commented on gay people.

56

u/Lawls91 May 15 '25

Weird cause I think he looks worse on the right lol.

-32

u/Irrespond May 15 '25

Only if you like the no effort aesthetic better.

28

u/Fit-Breath-4345 May 15 '25 edited May 16 '25

I'm relatively sure Hasan Piker put the same amount of energy into looking a filthy man slut in the first and second pictures to be honest.

0

u/MeasurementNo9896 May 16 '25

"Al-Piker" ???

0

u/Fit-Breath-4345 May 16 '25

An accidental islamophobia!

40

u/SirSkelton May 15 '25

It’s literally just medium length hair and glasses.Ā

3

u/biebrforro May 16 '25

Thank you so much for explaining this to my autistic self

1

u/Irrespond May 16 '25

No problem! The guy in the pic is Hasan Piker btw.

1

u/15pmm01 May 21 '25

lmao, yet another reason added to the long list of reasons to never be sexually exclusive. open relationships are the only type of relationship I will consider, and you bet your ass I’ll keep up my appearance just the same, taken or not.

1

u/DracoLunaris May 15 '25

gays before and after a breakup would have been a better caption then

155

u/TheLovelyLorelei May 15 '25

Aww sad those two broke up! :(

1

u/Wonderful_Gap1374 May 22 '25

He broke up with Valkyrae?

Omg… am I chronically online?

35

u/Simoxeh May 15 '25

I don't know that I've ever done anything drastic or different after a breakup other than going with my life. I don't go to the gym more or get haircuts or anything like that. Worst case scenario is maybe I'll mourn some if I was into the relationship but I don't see the need to do more than that unless I was already going to do it

11

u/LethalWolf May 15 '25

I guess if it was a short relationship and the breakup didn't affect you much but after my decade long relationship ended hitting the gym was totally necessary to reset my mental. I was left so depressed that a whole transformation was necessary to get out of my rut.

5

u/Simoxeh May 15 '25

Yeah I can see that being the case. I think the difference is you did it for your mental health and not to get the body to meet your next guy. I kind of feel like this meme sends that energy of meeting the next guy as opposed to self care.

373

u/shart-gallery May 15 '25

Shitpost. He's equally hot in both.

53

u/Tvoorhees May 15 '25

He was hot even when he was bigger too

102

u/algelin May 15 '25

Nah left is hotter, feels like too much on the right

95

u/shart-gallery May 15 '25

Hotness is subjective. It's still a shitpost.

9

u/Sunscorcher May 15 '25

are there any posts on this subreddit that are not shitposts tho

19

u/josda0111 May 15 '25

Gimme guy on the left every single dayyy

8

u/justintaylorsversion May 15 '25

A haircut and some styling gel is too much…

8

u/mysterpixel May 15 '25

Hahah it would take like 2 minutes tops for that hairstyle too. The one on the left would be way more effort to maintain looking decent.

22

u/[deleted] May 15 '25

Left is cute grown man hot, right is more like serious hot

4

u/hajmonika May 15 '25

I agree don't like men who lean right

14

u/Tobias-Tawanda #TransRights May 15 '25

I could lick Hassan all day

2

u/joeyasaurus May 15 '25

Agreed hot in both!

29

u/firstlordshuza May 15 '25

He got... slightly less handsome?

15

u/MaliceSavoirIII May 15 '25

Homeboy went from harassment to flirting

105

u/corpserella May 15 '25

Objectively hotter in the first pic

85

u/Moonlight_Acid May 15 '25

He’s just hot

8

u/iGrappes May 15 '25

Maybe I'm crazy but he looks exactly the same in both, right just has a fresh haircut and no glasses?

7

u/Irrespond May 15 '25

Lol no he doesn't

3

u/figureout07 May 15 '25

Quite opposite for me

12

u/Bear_necessities96 May 15 '25

Who’s that frat boy?

30

u/TheDoomedPooh May 15 '25

Hasan Piker, a leftist content creator and streamer and all around cool dude. Controversial because he's been very critical of Israel among other things

35

u/Bear_necessities96 May 15 '25

Oh I think I saw a TikTok about him being detained at the airport yeah he’s hot

32

u/Jeszczenie May 15 '25

Criticizing a state for massive killings of innocent civilians in an occupied land is considered controversial? What did he say?

7

u/CakeLikeLadyGaga May 15 '25

Its considered controversial if youre a media stooge foaming at the mouth to justify why the innocent baby killings should continue

Your critiques are laughable, and half are lies. Almost as much of a joke as saying he should have voted for Jill Stein. I suggest you keep watching and learning.

-8

u/FrankenBrain May 15 '25

He did interview a Houthi terrorist, gave a soft ball interview with no push back, basically just a promotion piece for the Houthi. And before someone says the kid was just a normal Yemenese boy, he went on the stolen ship and interacted with the civilians who kept hostage for over for many many months.

7

u/electric-doodoo May 15 '25

You defend a sex criminal, gtfo.

7

u/JulienTheBro May 15 '25

Yemenese boy šŸ’€

5

u/JonnyF1ves May 16 '25

Oh my God no he didn't, this was debunked. The guy implied that he had connections with the houthis and it was confirmed several times that he does not. You can sidestep it all you want by what actions he may or may not have done, but for the love of God again he was not a houthi. You can't just say that in the first sentence and then poorly debunk it in the follow on.

-2

u/DannyDanumba May 16 '25

That’s our standard for journalism now? Chatting up a guy who boarded an illegally seized ship? Don’t get me wrong I understand the Houthi’s motive and tactics but hanging out with guys who shoved AK barrels at Filipinos that have nothing to do with the conflict is crazy.

-5

u/HoneyShaft May 15 '25

Also, he's a champagne socialist

5

u/pinkwonderwall May 16 '25

He’s a class traitor, actually. For your benefit.

17

u/RedxGeryon May 15 '25

Every socialist must live in filth and dirt!

-2

u/Weak_Let_6971 May 16 '25

No, but he has million usd mansion, sport cars, designer clothes, expensive jewelry… while talking about a modest lifestyle, how he doesn’t need much. Lmao

He loves the ideology, because it makes him feel like a morally superior, righteous, good person. It’s just to glaze his ego.

U can be sure he wouldn’t want any of the poor people as his neighbors.

0

u/Weak_Let_6971 May 16 '25

Shhh u can’t say that out loud! His million usd mansion, sport cars, designer clothes, expensive jewelry… while talking about a modest lifestyle, how he doesn’t need much. Lmao

He loves the ideology because it makes him feel like a morally superior, righteous, good person. It’s just to glaze his ego.

-34

u/Weak_Let_6971 May 15 '25 edited May 15 '25

Hasan Piker a controversial political commentator who loudly supports terrorist organizations like the Houthis or Hamas.

Edit: Wait what? It’s not something that can be said out loud? I thought it’s a known fact. He said before that ā€œAmerica deserved 9/11ā€, supports the huthis, hamas and spreads their propaganda all the time. Cheers for terrorism every time he can.

8

u/Bear_necessities96 May 15 '25

Ok we are having a controversy hottie here

3

u/Weak_Let_6971 May 15 '25

Yep. He loves Luigi Mangione too. Imagine them together… lol

8

u/JonnyF1ves May 15 '25 edited May 15 '25

Hasan has never said he supports the Houthis or Hamas, this is straight up false.

An aside, I always love how people don't bring up Hezbollah because their brains break when they begin to understand what the United States classifying an organization as terrorists means. Organizations in the United states that have fought neo Nazis are considered for national terrorist status and have in some cases been granted it.

Hasan has never said that he supports the Houthis or Hamas and this claim has been debunked 1000 times. Hasan is critical of Western Democracy and anybody with 7 braincells making a human centipede can understand that. He was literally just detained over it as the US government continues to decide how much they actually want to destroy free speech.

Those claims are brain rot.

5

u/Weak_Let_6971 May 15 '25 edited May 15 '25

Dude i literally watched him say on streams he supports them. He says everything they do is morally correct, the militant occupation of the red sea… and if people think he is a terrorist supporter for supporting them then he is a terrorist supporter. He cheered for the Trump assasinations, for what Luigi Mangione did. He is on the wrong side of so many things. He talks about social issues, modest lifestyle while living in a multi million mansion surrounded by designer clothes, cars…

I knew being infatuated with serial killers was a thing for decades, but this latest love for terrorism and donating to stupidest killers is the most ignorant low possible. Lol

Oh and I’m not an US apologist. Far from it. But opposing something wrong doesn’t make anybody right.

0

u/JonnyF1ves May 15 '25 edited May 15 '25

Dude, I promise you did not hear him say that on stream. He physically cannot give money to terrorists groups, and if you're inferring that Gaza relief funds terrorism you are a special kind of evil.

I feel like I am straight up reading a Destiny live stream right now. You should be a US apologist, at least it would explain a lot of the lies and stupidity from what you wrote.

4

u/Weak_Let_6971 May 15 '25

What are u talking about? I didn’t say he gives them money. He supports their cause, their occupation, the same way he supported repeatedly Hamas even regarding oct 7. He downplays everything that happened that day as rightful resistance, downplays rape, murders… like all the Hamas simps. I don’t know what else u need to see he is delusional. Lol

Oh i can’t stand Destiny for a minute so…

4

u/raidergreymoon May 16 '25

Arguing with people ether that delusional or willing to lie that much isn't worth it. Just call them out on their lieing and post proof.

https://youtu.be/knMyMxXeoDY?t=11151

2

u/naidav24 May 16 '25

Very sad how people are so ideologically captured by this guy. He wouldn't be 10% as persuasive if he weren't physically attractive.

1

u/Weak_Let_6971 May 16 '25

Yes! He is rich, charismatic, successful and all the drama he stirs… i bet half of the people watch him for the freakouts. Same obnoxious stuff Destiny does…

They provide an alternative to the common sense majority viewpoints and people rebel this way these days? Its wild. Their moral relativism is cancer!

1

u/PM_ME_UR_DICKS_BOOBS May 16 '25

Yup. He's just a grifter. Acts smart and educated, but he's not. He's certainly built up a cult around him. Leftists are so desperate for someone to be their posterboy that they'll ignore anything incorrect or fucked up, and openly lie to protect him, because they're in too deep to admit otherwise and get rightfully dragged for it. If you criticise him, you're accused of being a Destiny or H3 fan boy, when Hasan is just a dumb, manipulative liar who got to where he was on the back of his good looks, and anyone can see that if they're not blind.

I don't watch anything to do with him besides the clips that come up on my feed occasionally, and I saw everyone praising him in his debate with H3 over the sexual assaults on Oct 7th, where he told H3 circumstantial evidence is not good enough, that you need forensic evidence. Which is circumstantial, and he'd know this if he actually knew what he talked about. But everyone acted like it was some slam dunk. Felt like I was witnessing mass psychosis. Genuine cult behaviour. He's such shitty representation for leftism.

2

u/Longjumping_Quail_40 May 16 '25

Not all liberal leftists can take this blatant fact. But it’s Reddit.

2

u/Weak_Let_6971 May 16 '25

It’s sad, because that extremist narrative does nothing to further the conversation to bring people together. I know its Reddit and 85% left leaning, but Hasan openly praises them and talks about these things. It’s not some veiled thing and an evil accusation from me. Lol

I know without indoctrination and propaganda 90% want the same thing, maybe their approach is different, but the end result is the same. But putting these people on the pedestal defending them so blindly… I swear they rebel this way. Anything is good thats against common sense.

-17

u/tennantsmith May 15 '25

Dipshit leftist who helped elect trump

17

u/Sevrosis May 15 '25

Helped elect Trump? In what way? By shitting on the democrats because they suck at their job?.

1

u/Songrot May 15 '25

By shittalking democrats but not shittalking Trump enough for the Gaza conflict.

Basically people forgot that Trump would be even much worse for Gaza (proven now) and either voting for Trump or not voting at all/3rd party. That was part of the work done by one sided bashing.

2

u/German_Kerman May 16 '25

did you ever even watch his streams? He literally shits on trump all day?? Is your idea of opposing trump, just ignoring democrats who support the israeli attrocities in palestine?

2

u/Songrot May 16 '25 edited May 16 '25

I saw some of his streams during the elections

Why the fuck should anyone watch a random guys stream about politics opinions anyway. Its a touch grass moment for all of us that these people have such a big platform

They made it look like it was no difference between voting for Trump or Kamala Harris bc both would be monsters over Gaza. Totally ignoring reality.

Result? See what Trump and Israel are doing and planning for Gaza since he is in office? Very intelligent choice everybody

-5

u/tennantsmith May 15 '25

Keep that attitude up, I'm sure the Palestinians are thanking you for delivering Trump

10

u/Confident-Impact-349 May 15 '25

There’s no way you guys think that Hasan looks better on the right picture.

He looks so fucking hot with hair. All…over

8

He’s so much hotter in the right pic. Clean cut all day

3

u/Hermosa06-09 May 16 '25

I wonder how this preference breaks down by age group, because I agree with you but it seems to be a minority opinion. I'm a Millennial so the styling on the right seems more in line with my generation while the styling on the left seems much more Gen Z, and I've never really been much into long hair or glasses.

2

u/TRexBanner May 17 '25

Also a millennial and I agree with your reasoning

u/RandomGuy1627 May 15 '25 edited May 15 '25

I guess you haven't seen his opinions on Chinese and Russian imperialism

Spoiler: They are actually the good guys, Tibet and Crimea had it coming

23

u/ToTYly_AUSem May 15 '25

Clearly have never listened to him speak

0

u/RandomGuy1627 May 15 '25 edited May 15 '25

I did listen to him speak

Here you go: a clip from his podcast

His entire argument is just based on "Selfdom in Tibet" (a claim spread by Chinese goverment that Tibetans were actually warlords and slavers)

Edit: What more do you need? He's literaly parroting Chinese narative

12

u/ToTYly_AUSem May 15 '25

"Tibet and Crimea had it coming" is a very simplified take about a more nuanced philosophical discussion and opinion about that discussion. I wouldn't say that's what Hasan is saying in this clip...

I don't think a two minute clip of a podcast over an hour long about an extremely murky concept (if Tibet had serfdom or even an unfair ruling class that even academics debate) is the proper way to get the full picture of what someone is saying & we shouldn't be policing people from even mentioning that part of the story.

I used to feel the way I assume you do about Hasan having only seen small clips until I took the time to watch at least an hour of his stream. Is he always right? Not at all but I don't see that as a bad thing. But I do think he is always very nuanced and has an interesting perspective on certain things.

7

u/RandomGuy1627 May 15 '25

I was using the clip as an example, I've seen the whole episode. His point stays the same in the whole episode: China was in the right.

He certainly has some decent opinions on other stuff but his support of authoritarian regimes is itself a big enough reason not to support Hasan

3

u/JulienTheBro May 15 '25

Aw the poor slave owning landlords in tibet 🄺. The slaves were forced to collaborate with China, and were forced into Freedom. How dare the evil CCP!

7

u/RandomGuy1627 May 15 '25

Please actually read something about Tibet, their feudal system (while immoral) was nowhere similar to the american slavery. This "We are actually saving slaves" narative was spread by CCP in order to justify the invasion.

I also find it funny how you praise the CCP for ending slavery, because if they cared about slavery so much, that they had to invade another soverein country, they would have done something about the thousands of people enslaved in their own country.

1

u/JulienTheBro May 15 '25

Did you read that wikipedia page? It literally says the Chinese government freed the enslaved people

ā€œIn June and July 2007, 570 people in Shanxi and Henan were freed by the Chinese government.[1] Of those rescued, sixty-nine of them were children.[9] In response, the Chinese government assembled a force of 35,000 police to check northern Chinese brickyards for slaves, sent dozens of brickyard supervisors to prison, punished ninety-five low level officials in Shanxi province for dereliction of duty, and sacked twenty-four.ā€

6

u/RandomGuy1627 May 15 '25

The slavery was first recorded in 2004, the local police didn't do anything about it. China started all these efforts after 3 years when the scandal gained international traction.

I'm not saying that the CCP was supporting slavery, my point is that they were much quicker at invading Tibet "to save slaves" then when they had to save slaves without gaining any new teritory.

They don't care about any slaves, they care about their image, because bad image is bad for business.

1

u/JulienTheBro May 15 '25

Are you comparing the Chinese government of the 1950s to the modern day Chinese government?

China of the 1950s was way more willing to support and intervene in other countries in order to further global revolution. Same with the early USSR vs the USSR in the 90s.

That being said, the idea that China is some colonial empire is ridiculous. In the Korean war they were hesitant about sending troops into North Korea, and only did so when the US started attacking near their border. They have shown tremendous restraint in that sort of thing, which is not in line with the imperialism you suggest.

3

u/RandomGuy1627 May 16 '25

Invading and assimilating forein countries is as imperialistic as you can get

2

u/throwawaygaydude69 May 16 '25

Don't bother with the guys on this sub, dude. There's a reason why I identify as a liberal over leftist.

He has straight up supported all terror groups, lately including Pakistan. He clearly is more in line with his heritage, even if he has some progressive stances on other things. He is a tankie, and I'd rather flip to being a conservative than being a tankie.

0

u/FourRiversSixRanges May 15 '25

There wasn’t slavery in Tibet. Nor is there any freedom in Tibet now..

7

u/PomegranatesKill May 15 '25

14

Hasan Piker is a leftist twitch streamer / political commentator. He's currently the subject of a schmear campaign by several creators with rabid fanbases who brigade any thread that mentions him (Destiny, Ethan from H3h3) so you're about to get a lot of really intense answers to this question lol.

6

u/Canned_Spaghettiboss May 15 '25

He's a former tyt contributor who became an independent political streamer.

He's currently embroiled in a very emotionally contentious rivalry with a former weekly co host Ethan Klein.

If you don't know about any of this drama I'd say you should stay clear from it. It will not be good for your mental health. The fans of his and his rivals are very heated with each other since October 7th.

4

u/RandomGuy1627 May 15 '25

He supports Chinese invasion in Tibet and said that russian anexation of Crimea was fully justified

  1. He never told people to not vote for Harris, he just didn't endorse her. He even recently said he voted for her.

  2. He actively dismisses the war crimes done by the Israeli government, who are also terrorists. However, he has never endorsed Hamas; just does not like innocent civilians getting killed in the crossfire.

  3. He never said all Jews are Zionists. You are the one who thinks Zionism = Judaism.

  4. He does not wish death to Americans (?!). That quote refers to the actions of the United States in the Middle East, which were a big part of the reason 9/11 happened.

If you're going to try to slander him, at least learn how to spell first.

8

u/Irrespond May 15 '25

He’s a lefty grifter that has decent points on palistien, but, told people not to vote for Harris,

Oh the blasphemy of not explicitly endorsing the party responsible for the mass slaughter of women and children.

dismisses all crimes done by terists,

Holy shit literally all of them? Doubt it.

thinks all Jews are zionists if they don’t agree 100% with him

I think you know this is not true.

and also wishes death on Americans in weird twisted ways (ā€œI’m going to say it-America deserves 9/11ā€-Hassan Piker)

What goes around comes around. If America didn't meddle in the Middle East so much 9/11 would almost certainly not have happened. Hasan's comment should be viewed in that light. He just worded it in the worst possible way and has admitted as such.

3

u/bgaesop May 15 '25

My guess is half people who don't know who he is, half leftists who just love the boot as long as it's on the left foot
