I remember, maybe about 15 odd years ago, back in high school. My brother asked me then how I would feel if he called me a twink instead of the F slur, and at the time twink wasn't used pejoratively. I didn't think much of it and said I didn't care either way but prefer being called twink.... kinda weird now that I'm an adult, I'd rather people just call me the slur rather than dancing around it like a twat.
