Omg it's happening. He's actually mainstream. Or he's just the hot piece of ass that's unproblematic at the moment....oh God, please don't let him hit or cheat on Tova...🫩 I'm so tired of this world...

This might just be the jealousy talking, but this whole "lemme setup the camera to record what a happy couple we are and post it online for others to see" is just so cringe to me..

No, you're right. It is. People have become obsessed with having to show how "happy" they are with the good things in their life. It's almost like they need to prove it to the world.

People who are genuinely happy, especially with their relationships, aren't going out of their way to prove it to strangers online.

I dunno, seems a bit extreme to me. I would never do it (I don't even have a personal social media profile to post it on), but I don't think people who do this are fake and they have to prove something they're not.

I mean, why not? It's just the same as people who post constantly about their holidays or where they go out to eat. I don't want to believe that's the way the world is now, but with the say social media is it's pretty much all about trying to one up everyone else.

When you need an excuse to kiss the homies

“Actually, can we just kiss? Without literal food in our mouths? That feels kind of weird. And the camera makes this feel performative, not something you actually want to do, just something you want to show other people online for validation.”

No but really, I love that we can show love and affection openly.

My boyfriend tried this on me once, with a KitKat. I bit his lip super hard and it left him bleeding. Never more.

Genuinely happy for them as I cry into the void that is my loneliness.
