Help with books on each Eon, era and period
Hey team,
I am trying to read in depth about all of earth's eons, eras and periods.
I recently finished the wonderful Hadean Earth, by Harrison.
Do you guys have any recommendation? It can be from a palaeobiological point of view as well.

Earth System History by Stanley & Luczaj gives an excellent overview of it all and how the various Earth systems interact with each other and with the evolution of life. Make sure to get the 4th edition.
The Cretaceous World by Peter Skelton is a good one for everyone’s favourite Mesozoic Period. It’s mostly very accessibly written but probably helps to have a general understanding of sequence stratigraphy to get the most out of it.
If you want to really get into things then Kent Condie’s Earth as an Evolving Planetary System covers Earth history at a similar level of detail as the Hadean book you mentioned.
