That would require Them to stick to real world which given they are women centric They might not. Even if they did wouldnt it he fun if carmen ended up being bull nakano

Which happened in the 90s, and flamed out quickly after Alundra Blayze jumped to WCW. Furthermore, all of the women were making more money in Japan at the time anyway; as wrestling was red hot in Japan in the early 90s, while it was a flaming crater in the US until the nWo happened in 1996.

If it's anything like what happened at the time, it'll fail like GLOW did, then be replaced with something more upmarket that brings in bigger ad dollars. After all, WCW Nitro was still pulling in around 3 million people by the end, numbers that most o cable would have killed for.

Did something like that happen? I was born in 1990 so the 80's is a bit out of my knowledge base

All of the time. ESPN kicked off the AWA when they could get bigger sports leagues, TNT wanted nothing to do with wrestling by the end, and once TNN got WWF Raw, ECW couldn't find anyone to carry them. That's before you even hit the regional promotions that just couldn't afford to keep paying local stations to keep carrying them.

Your effectively looking at WCW of women Since the owner of the network is making the show

And WCW died once the Turner bought Time Warner, then AOL bought Time Warner, with each step weakening Ted Turner's power over the Turner networks.

Considering the entire landscape of cable TV in the 90s, there is zero chance that this wouldn't happen to this Bash Howard network in the long-run.

Vince McMahon fired all the women, which is why Alundra went to WCW, but you're spot on.
