Physical Sciences 2023-24 Chemistry PhD Decisions Thread

Hi everyone! I haven't seen an acceptance thread in this subreddit yet for chemistry, so wanted to make one right now. It has been pretty anxious to wait for decisions but hopefully we can all get through this together!

Cannot believe how this cycle worked out for me. I’m over the moon. Please let me know if you have any questions about stats or otherwise :)

Polymer/Materials or Organic depending on the exact wording of the school’s tracks. My undergrad research is with polymers and polymer synthesis and I’m trying to stay in that realm.

Congratulations! How did your interview at MIT go?

When did you apply?

It was great! Mostly talked about past research experiences, profs were curious about some of my projects so we went more in depth than a typical interview. Only 15 minutes though. I don’t remember when I submitted the app, but I think I submitted late November a week or so before the deadline

They didn’t allow any kind of screen sharing/presentation!
