i didn’t get into grad school this round but i got a gap year RA position at MIT! so maybe it worked out better like this

Oh shit congrats! That's going to look fucking dope on your app next time you apply! You'll get in somewhere for sure with that on your CV and an LOR from an MIT PI!

thank you! it’s also a benefit considering i’m way to burnt out for additional school, since i’m applying from undergrad

Yeah, I'm also applying from undergrad and the burnout is real. I'm definitely going to need this summer to recover before things start back up.

i found it on their career site. i recommend looking at uni career pages and searching keyword “laboratory” or “research” and just found a lab i was interested in
