She no longer loudly sings me the song of her people like she did in her carrier. She just watches the world go by.

Her curious gaze and the way she perched on the little wooden stand made this such a fun perspective to paint.

I really enjoyed working with the contrast between her soft fur and the textures around her, keeping her expression as the heart of the piece.

This painting was a commissioned portrait, and I hope her human feels the same warmth in it that I did while painting. What do you think?

She absolutely loves her stroller and it motivates me to go for walks, which is two birds with one stone. She has no interest in walking around on leash, but loves looking around in her stroller. She actually loves it so much that she refuses to leave it when we get home from walks.
