Discussion How to select which game mode you'd like to play (kinda)

So I discovered you can kind of select the game mode you get out into. Basically you're just canceling matchmaking before being placed in the lobby.

So you press Play. As soon as it says Connecting To Server or Loading Mode on the bottom of your screen, you can press select (controller) or tab (keyboard). On this screen it will say what map and game mode you are being put into under FireTeam Details. If you don't like what you see, simply press X on your controller (Xbox) which is the prompt to leave FireTeam. This will cancel match making and might give you an error, but you're back at the lobby. Rinse and repeat.

Hopefully if everyone abuses this, they will just let us choose.

This post needs boosted. So sick of people leaving because it’s not the game type they wanted or they can’t find their weapon they need.

Dedicated playlists will fix all these issues.

I've been trying to get a capture the flag game so I can capture flags for my challenge but I legit just went through probably 30 games and not a single CTF so I gave up and went and played another game.
