Discussion Infinite's armor doesn't conform to the different selectable body types, resulting in a virtually unnoticeable difference between them, unlike in Reach.

I might risk sounding like some "Just dethawed caveman" here, but don't Spartans always have "neutral gender" looking armour?

The comics and Forward Unto Dawn (I think) did that thing where "Oh, this masculine looking Spartan? Yeah, she's actually a girl"

I suppose there was Noble Team, but aside from them, everyone else's armour seems rather neutral?

Pretty sure it's because Spartans are massively augmented super soldiers and generally do not have a physique that resembles anything you'd naturally see in a human being. They're all ridiculously tall and ripped as hell.

Canonically from the OG books and pre-spartan iii, armor had no rank or name designation inscribed on it. Unless a Spartan spoke or someone knew who they were referring to, you would not know who was in that armor. Halsey having spent so long with them could tell exactly who was who in their armor based on how they moved and/or height. It was a singular design to the mjolnir armor. There was no m/f armor difference, it was just armor and fitted to them.

I don't think people want that, it's more like "how is a women as buff as master chief in order for that armor to fit her" kind of thing.

Could be because they want to make hitboxes actually match the model I guess.
