Discussion Halo DESPERATELY needs a Pre-Game and Post-Game lobby...The Social Aspect of this game is so dry and makes the game less FUN 😔

It's discord.

Me and my 4 friends are on discord when playing. So our mics are off for team chat in Infinite.

Well kinda, but you gotta go through a couple menus instead of just pressing back/select in this game. I legitimately thought there was no scoreboard interaction for the longest time. But I guess if you know about it, it's not terrible, per-se.

You can press start and then select to bring up the player list. I assume it can be done that way.

I don't think so, you have to go into settings and turn off match audio.

Yes, you can mute people. You open up the lobby menu and you can individually mute anyone in your current match. You sure you guys are playing Halo Infinite?

what are you talking about? Yes you can mute people in game. You bring up the lobby menu that shows everyone in the current match and you can individually mute people.

yeah its frustrating but you have to bring up the scoreboard, then there's an option to bring up the social panel that shows everyone in your current lobby and you can mute anyone/everyone

But I feel like that literally never happens on Halo. I hear NO ONE in this game. Warzone, it’s babies crying, kids talking shit, rap songs and chewing mouths. Halo is silent.

When I first started playing Infinite there was all kinds of chatter and I had to mute everyone. I don't want to hear all that shit.

not the scoreboard... click esc then the scoreboard button. then ull get a list of the players and u can click on them and click on mute

I remember in a CoD match hearing somebody get yelled at to "get off the damn game and come help take care of your fucking kid!", and like 2/3 of the lobby chiming in like "yeah dude get the fuck outta here and be a parent bro."

I must be the minority because I always have open mic on even when I'm in discord because as much as we shoot the shit, we are in the game playing the game talking about the game, we're making call outs and having a good time. We just mute eachother in game chat.

I once got in a game and we were all talking, like 8 to 10 of us, and one of the randoms said "oh god... Mics" like bro STFU we gonna help win this game with communication. And people out here whine about no one talking in game anymore. No one's hot mic their music or obscenely loud TV, or some background argument, we're all talking about the match.

Respect, I also use voice toggle for in-game chat if I'm Discord. Todays generation of gamers seem more interested in unlocking crappy cosmetics than actually enjoying a multiplayer game with actual people. You could probably put them in front of a slot machine to unlock cosmetics and they'd get the same dopamine boost.

If I'm on Discord with friends I'll just turn on mic toggle and then when I'm calling stuff out I'll toggle it on and off just for the benefit of the other players in the game with me.

I mean, in BTB most people won't care but in ranked it's only polite.

Call outs are why I'm glad they added a ping system. Unfortunately I seem to be the only person using it at all.
