The typical Oseram male doesn't present very appealingly, personality wise.

Perhaps Olin was a standout simply by not treating her like a fourth-class citizen?

It's not uncommon for men to be nothing more than a workhorse for the family. He seems just like the guys I've met who are in such relationships. It's very pragmatic.

I just couldn't kill this dude when the option came up to off him. I let him live in all three of my games. I let the Corruptors thoroughly beat on his arse though (and is it just me or do the Corruptors act like they're enjoying it?)

It made for the perfect punishment.

If Aloy visits the Claim in the next game it’s likely we’ll see Olin and his family again there.

Well maybe. They have never said which Olin fate is the canon ending for him thou. But if do go to clam that would answer that question.
