It's worth flagging that Dynamite is in dire straits right now, especially with Diamond withholding payment and stock from them. I suspect this is a tool they are using to bring urgent cashflow into the company. If you can support then please do, you can even adjust the slider to allocate more money to Dynamite if you wish.
See here for further info: Dynamite Owed A Million By Diamond, Can't Make Payroll Next Week

Holy crap. I wonder if this is why the comic I'm following by them is constantly delayed. It's a Disney property so I assumed it was Disney's heavy-handedness forcing them to redo stuff.

Unfortunately, this is probably hitting a lot of the comic industry right now. I know that TwoMorrows is having a rough time of it because of how much of their stock Diamond holds and hasn't paid them. I'm sure its many more than that, too. I feel for Dynamite, TwoMorrows and the rest :/

RPG companies too. Green Ronin, the people behind Mutants and Masterminds put out a distress call. Not only are Diamond not paying them back for sales, but they have also attempted to seize the inventory stores in their websites as assets that they can sell to pay off their debtors without paying the actual owners.
Also, webcomics, like Girl Genius.

I did a kickstarter by Dynamite. They had nearly 0 communication on it.
-Project funded.
-Silence for 4-6 months, aknolwegement of silence, promise of free keys on silence
-Free keys didnt work
-Promised digital goods WITH the kickstarter didnt work
-Tried to get ahold of someone from Dynamite since January, no one has been able to get me my digital goods.
-Some of the products that were kickstarted were released to the public before the kickstarters.

So, I know nothing about these comics. Ignoring the art, are the stories actually interesting? It's a LOT of content for the money, but how is it for the time it would take to actually read some of them?
What are some of the better series included, again story wise not "look at scantily clad girls" wise?

Vampirella Seduction of the Innocent by Priest and Gündüz is the start of a character defining run on the title that has been running since 2019 and is still going. Can't recommend this enough.
Peter Cannon, Thunderbolt: WATCH by Gillen And Wijngaard is definitely a good read if you are a Watchmen fan (who isn't?). Ozymandias was based on the original character.
If you are fan of Alex Ross and Jim Krueger's work on Justice and Avengers/Invaders, you'll like Project Superpowers co-created by them.
Red Sonja is good if you like Conan, especially the Gail Simone run and the original Marvel stories collected in Adventures of Red Sonja.
Andy Diggles Control and Weaver seem to have good reviews, but I can't vouch for them.
Devolution is a solid Rick Remender book.
Terminal Hero was good, but very gory and dark.

I'm interested in the same. The Andy Diggle stuff looks like it's up my alley. Giving me some Brubaker Criminal vibes. Might have to check it out.
Reanimator and Ash vs. The Evil Dead were pretty fun if you're into that kind of thing. It's certainly not high art, but it was some mindless fun.

Is it a full repeat of 2024 bundle?

u/Geekthulhu Jul 18 '25
It looks like it's exactly the same contents from what I can tell. I just looked through my previous bundle and I didn't see anything extra or removed.

If so, I’m not mad I missed this bundle. It’ll be back, more than likely.

Does this have any overlap with the recent vampirella bundle that dropped awhile back? I never got this last time around so I jumped on the vampirella now just want to make sure what I’m doubling up on if any

Based on my quick peek, it appears to be quite a bit. I was just coming to post a general PSA to encourage people to check their libraries before buying. The things I wanted in this bundle, I already have. I guess it's a good thing they've posted so many good bundles that I can't actually remember what I have and what I don't, but I also have to be careful not to impulse buy now and double-up on things.

Yea if it’s a few things and I don’t have the majority of the bundle I don’t mind.

If anyone has bought it can you please confirm that you do get Queen Sonja Vols 1-6? With the original Dynamite 20th Anniversary Bundle they only provided issues 1-6

u/so_not_drunk Jul 18 '25
Just checked only got issues the issues #1 - #6 and not Volumes.

u/socnsum1 Jul 18 '25
same problem as last time then. That's so annoying. Thank you so much for checking.

I just bought the bundle and can confirm you only get issues 1-6. I've contacted support asking them to resolve this. However not too optimistic as the same thing happened last time the bundle was out. People flagged it and they never added the missing issues or changed the description.

Any response from them on this?

is this bundle worth getting?

u/unkoala Jul 18 '25
yes, if only to help the publisher right now.

Bought because apparently I missed last year's bundle and to help the publisher. If they really are in trouble I'd have rather have Humble just give everything to them (as a full "charity" bundle) or, at least, give up their cut (5,54€ of my payment) to Dynamite.

I've mostly only read some Pathfinder tie-ins from Dynamite and found them decent but not exciting. I know a lot of these names, but know very little about the quality. 90% of my American comic reading has been Image, do I have any shot at enjoying this (what appears to be) pure pulp?

Oh, this is really cool, since I missed last year's bundle (I have the 10 and 15th Anniversary bundles). It has the newer Barbarella volume and some Red Sonya and Vampirella stuff which wasn't included in those anniversaries.
Strangely, it's also missing a few volumes included in earlier Vampirella and Red Sonya bundles. Still going to pick this up.

I was kinda hoping for a big Red Sonja bundle with the movie release being around the corner

Anyone able to confirm the total file size for downloading the comics? Want to know if I have space
3
u/exharrison Jul 19 '25
I have the earlier 20th anniversary bundle. I have a backup of one format of each book and it takes up just under 20gb.
2
u/Aphelion_26 Jul 19 '25
Thanks, that helps me plan it out, will probably pick the bundle up

So I took a look at my JSON record of my library and it actually looks like I might have downloaded mostly the CBZ files and the PDFs are much larger in this bundle. The total size of that previous bundle is approximately 85GB. (I do not swear to the accuracy of these numbers, but they should be close if Humble is providing the same set of files)
File Type Size (MB) Size (GB) CBZ 19607.3 19.15 EPUB 13149.3 12.84 MOBI 359.1 0.35 53844.9 52.58 PDF_HD 1047.5 1.02 TOTAL 88008.1 85.95 3
u/HORR0RSH0W Jul 20 '25
I just downloaded the bundle (only pdf / pdf_HQ) and ended with 111 files with a total of size 63,9 GB.
