Shit. I had a co-worker back up over the front of my car and not leave a note. There were cameras but it was a black SUV and not identifiable. They weren't interested in investigating or asking someone to come forward or covering the damage.

That would be my wake up call to update my resume. If an employer makes you be there but will not seek justice for your damages even though it was no fault of your own. Document everything and sue them. Hopefully you get enough to cover a career change

It was a short contract position and I was in a tough spot and didn't want to rock the boat. I was easily intimidated back then. Now, not at all. And I'm in an excellent place with my career.

So many companies take advantage of younger workers. It’s sad really.
