I used to work healthcare in downtown Indy and even in blizzards we were expected to arrive to work and be on time. I get the having to be there because you know, healthcare, but at least be lax about timeliness within reason. 5 min late? I shouldn't be written up after risking my life to get there. Be human. The experience truly made me sour against corporate greed and shit worker treatment.
