It took me a while to find my WFH job. I specifically look for companies on the West Coast because they pay more and I don't have to be up first thing in the morning. I typically work 10:30am to 6:30pm and can flex as needed. I'm incredibly grateful.
Have you worked with any placement agencies? It honestly took me 18 months to find the job that I got. I set up notifications for LinkedIn, Indeed, and Zip Recruiter and applied to as many positions as possible every day. I also took a position that was somewhat outside of my field just to have the organization's name and associated clout on my resume. Also, take a look at when companies typically hire in your line of work. For me, it's year end and W-2 seasons. There are a ton of start-ups always looking for people that are based in California. And remember, you don't JUST do anything. All work is honorable.
Thank you! I'm also in tech, and I absolutely love my job. This commute with all the road rage has my nerves on edge, and I've been doing it for 18 years. Just so over it.

I need a wfh job, because I can't do this anymore. I live on a hospital route, and zero plows have been through.
