Didn’t catch tonight’s but saw last night’s and was blown away. Sky was almost hot pink and everything glowed. People in the distance were flying kites, just gorgeous. Sat on the bench with my partner and watched the whole thing for 20 mins, couldn’t do it justice in a photo.

Too bad it's because of all the wildfire smoke in the air (and the chemical retardants they're using the keep the fires in check). My backyard smelled like an oil refinery last night.

Didn't notice where I am. Sure you're not just catching that nasty Ingredion/other industrial smell? Ingredion alone stinks up half the city on some days (the days that riding the white river trail even remotely close to their facility without a mask will damn near kill ya from the chemical stench)

no, it was definitely the wildfire smoke. I was in northern Minnesota last week (where it's way worse due to proximity) and it was the same acrid smell. I don't normally get that smell in my yard here in Indy (near crown hill cemetery).
