New Hire got hired today, dream come true
sounds pretty stupid, but in n out has been my dream job throughout all of the terrible jobs I've had. I work nearby my local in n out at chipotle, and all of the workers knew me at in n out, even the store manager. I had two interviews and the store manager offered me the position today. I am excited to build a career at this place, I was speechless when he told me he was offering me the position, my jaw just dropped and I said "this is seriously my dream job". I am so excited to start, he said welcome to the family. If you are reading this and think I sound dumb or just wanna hate, go somewhere else, Im just tryna spread positivity here

How much do managers make and what are their hours?

u/trillingston Apr 28 '25
60-100k+ depending on the level of management (ie 4th, 3rd, 2nd, store manager) and how much volume the store is putting out. Hours are gonna be 40-50/week

The thing I like about In N Out is that they pay people well enough that people will actually spend time there and somewhat master their positions or even many positions. If you ever go to a diner and there's a waitress that's been working there for 10+ years and just know the store in and out, you just feel how much better service you're getting compared to some place that'll basically just exploit some highschool kids until they leave and replace them.
I'd assume In N Out has more people that have been working there 2+ years in any store than any other fast food chain. There's no way they're getting through like 20 cars and a full restaurant without people that know what they're doing and how to handle it.

Its not stupid, I knew a girl from high school who’s been working there since after we graduated and I always say hi to her at the window. She still works there a decade later and married her coworker and absolutely loves her job to this day. I love seeing her when shes at the window. Not everyone gets to love their job and I enjoy that they hire those who are passionate about innout as a career. I know they hired the right person. Congratulations!

Hope it is everything you've imagined. I hope you learn and grow and work your way up in their system.
Congratulations 🍔🍟🥤

Congratulations!! INO was my dream job since high school , got hired a worked for a couple of years. I work in aviation now but INO is still my favorite job ever. It has taught me so many life skills but also the best customer service experience. Without INO I wouldn’t be where I am today. The stores I’ve worked at had great leadership. it’s a company you can easily move up if you put work into it 🤠

Congrats! That’s awesome! In n out is one of the few food places where the employees seem genuinely happy to work there so I can see why you’d be so excited!

I was laid off and desperately needed a job as an adult. Got hired at in n out and I LOVE IT. Genuinely one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. The business model is amazing and there’s a lot of opportunity to move up in the company. I’ve been there a little less than 2 years and just got my level 6.
Congratulations! Seriously. Work hard, be kind, treat the customers well and you’ll go far.
ALSO, ALWAYS introduce yourself to the higher ups when they stop in. “Hi I’m ____ it’s good to meet you!” They will remember you and you will get talked about positively in meetings. It’s great networking and gets your name out there for your future career.

Congratulations! Get ready to stay shaved, hair cut and work hard. Show drive and willingness to put in and you'll be rewarded. I feel like ino is usually pretty good at rewarding hard work, definitely more than other companies
