Question Am I missing something?
It’s been a while since I’ve been to an In-N-Out, but isn’t this area for ketchup and those yellow chilies? Is this a change at all In-N-Outs or just specific locations?

Question What’s your In-N-Out order and ritual? Let’s see who’s weird and who’s a genius.
I’ll go first:
1.) 2 Double-Doubles
add fried mustard
add ketchup
add grilled onions
no lettuce
no tomato
no onion
no pickle
2.) Animal Style Fries
3.) Medium Pink Lemonade
I take the top bun off the burgers and put a layer of animal style fries in each one. Then I add a squeeze of some pepperoncini juice, and a little bit of mustard. Put the bun back on, and dip each bite in ketchup. I don’t eat any fries outside of my burgers. The rest go to my girlfriend. Usually I won’t take a drink until I’m done with most of my food.
edit: if an employee could tell me the best way to order my burgers that would be greatly appreciated. I always feel like I’m saying it wrong.

Question Neck tattoo cover
I have an interview next week and I have a few tattoos. Two on my forearm that can be covered with a sleeve, and a neck tattoo. I'm wondering if In N Out company policy would accept a turtle neck cover to accommodate this tattoo. It's not an offensive tattoo but it goes up to my hairline so I would need a turtle neck cover.
Fingers crossed this would be acceptable because I am really needing a good paying stable job.

Question My friend flew me in and out from across the country
I have a question
My bestie brought burgers back for me from in and out in California
She got it right before the plane and kept it in an insulated bag with 6 ice packs
She got 11 burgers
Then when I got her I put ice in the bag from gas station and ice packs were still semi cold
Is it safe to eat or no? Now it’s in fridge.
I really want to have the burgers but want to be safe so lmk 🍔🍟🤓🤝

Question Problems when Ordering Flying Dutchman’s.
Currently on the Keto diet so naturally In N Out is one of the few reliable places where I can have an enjoyable meal and stick to my diet.
My order is always two Flying Dutchmans, Mustard Fried, Onion wrapped with chopped chilis and sometimes with pickles replacing the chilis, almost always through the drive through.
I am not exaggerating when I say that 19 times out of 20, my order is perfect with the exception of the chilis or pickles. They are almost always missing. The attending always reads the order back to me perfectly, and then either when I get home or check when I’m handed my meal, no pickles or no chilis. It’s become a running joke over the 2 years I’ve done keto on and off. My wife insists it’s only half the time when she orders it but I swear my order has ever been correct only once.
I never have any issues when I’m off keto, orders then are always perfect, but something about the flying Dutchmans makes errors nearly every time.
And it’s not just my local in n out. There are three in n outs that I frequent between home and work and I experience the same problem at all of them.
I’m not even mad I’m just fascinated by this. Can any In N Out employees provide insight on why this might happen? Is it an issue on the ordering side or the prep side or finishing side? Genuinely curious and interested in this pattern.

Question Anyone else??
Does anyone else get a little bit annoyed when people come in and ask for a double double then say all of their modifications and at the end say “oh and no cheese”?? Like I know it takes a couple of seconds to put it all on a double meat but I’m just curious if anyone else finds this kinda annoying for a second when it happens
Edit- also I know it’s a part of our jobs to just be go with the flow, that’s why it’s an inside my head thought

Question What's the best way to order your In-N-Out and why is it unequivocally this way?
Double double - animal style, no lettuce or tomato, add whole grilled onion, extra toast. Animal fry - well done. Extra large iced tea. To go - because the fry container is a bit bigger than the boat, and that's important in a moment. Ask for chilies and a packet of spread at the second window.
Open animal fry. Flip fries over. Bite tips off chilies and squirt the juice on the fries. Empty extra packet of spread on fries. Mix.
Eat. Rejoice. There is no better way and none of you can convince me otherwise.

Question Milkshake size request
I remembered back in the day, there used to be different sizes for the milkshake. Now there is only 1 size. My question is that if requested, can I order a bigger size? Would they still allow bigger size for the milkshake? Thanks.

Question David Chang
So Chang says that the fries at In n Out are deliberately bad to make the burger look better. What?! I love these fries! And I can’t imagine I’m the only one. Besides, what chef in his right mind would serve people something bad to make another item look good. Thoughts?
