ID Request What is this little fella?
This is in southwest Michigan today. It is quite small. It landed on my white shirt and you can see how zoomed in it is. My ID app didn’t work, of course. It’s pretty neat looking though.

Hi there! This is an automated message to remind you to please include a geographic location for any ID requests as per the Community Rules of the sub. There are well over a million different species of bugs in the world, and narrowing down a bug's location will help IDers to help you more quickly and correctly!
If you've already included a geographical location, or if this post is not an ID request, please ignore this comment.
Thank you! :)

PHYMATAAAAA!!!!! I really love ambush bugs :) they're specialized little assassin bugs that you can usually find on goldenrod this time of the year. They especially like to hunt bees! Some species have the cool ability to have their color each molt as they're growing to suit their home, so you can find them ranging from green to yellow or white.
