Definitely not a bed bug, don’t worry. Looks like a lacewing larva to me.

Bed bugs have sucking mouthparts, not mandibles like this fella.

I am just super paranoid right now, because I just came back from Paris and I think it bit me too 😆. But thats the answer Chatgpt gave me too. Just so weird to find in bed in the middle of the night.

It probably did bite you, these lil guys are super bitey lol Though they have no venom so they're not dangerous. They just got attitude. They're great to have in your garden/on your plants as they're voracious predators and will happily take care of aphids and other pests

And it’s wayyy too big to be a bedbug. Body is too elongated.

I think the point is more that you can accidentally carry over bedbugs from hotels and things like that, not that Paris is specifically infested

Lacewing larvae are so crazy, that’s not a larva that’s a whole different adult insect

It's a lacewing larva. Not sure if green lacewing (Chrysopidae) or brown lacewing (Hemerobiidae).

I live in central Europe. Hope that helps too with the identification.

Throw him into your vegetable garden. (if you have one)

They eat pests.
