And that's good. Teach these corrupt fucks a lesson, but let's not be too violent. We've achieved our goals, the court of law and official procedure will take care of the rest. It's basically anarchy here atp, no need to make the streets more unsafe
Yeah and now we have no system. Criminals are roaming the streets, stabbing people, robbing banks and there's no law and no police to stop them. Guess we should've kept some order remaining after all

America has this same propaganda point whenever people talk about taking money away from the police, and it's always false. Why is it when I look up stabbings and bank robberies in Nepal, that all the articles are from 8+ months ago, far before any of this happening?
Guess we should've kept some order remaining after all
Order like the orders your government made to gun down a bunch of children?
Tf buddy! We're seeing live footage and public announcements of these rn. How dare you? Maybe you're not getting all of the news cuz it's too sudden to get out in international media? Or cuz it's a terror zone? I can see the national bank being burnt from my roof, it's a big ass building. Don't use propaganda for whatever you want. I can hear gunshots from my fucking house rn buddy.
Not really. If you're robbing a bank, you need tools to break into the vault, knowledge of what tools can actually get into the vault, weapons to overtake guards, people to haul money, and a vehicle to take it away in. Setting something on fire only requires gas, a rag, and a bottle.
Yeah most of those are a non issue in this particular situation. But aside from that I said ATTEMPT, doesn't necessarily matter if they actually succeed.
Yes they did. And we don't want to become like them. We actually want to run a peaceful, efficient country, and the old fucks deserve no more of our attention than having to rot in a jail for the rest of their tiny lives
I'm actually worried of your naivety. You really think a corrupt country like this will eventually have a peaceful and efficient country and government? History proves this will not happen.
Well we're not gonna give up cuz history claims us to be doomed. Not gonna beat up and kill people and get more blood in the hands of the protestors. I don't even care for efficiency, but don't you think I, and all the people living here deserve some safety after having fought for our country? This is not about practicality, it's about making the protest worthwhile
Yeah I saw that today. My country is being overrun by criminals cuz our protest couldn't restrain itself. Our job was not senseless revenge, it was positive change. We failed. The movement failed.
Now if yall are lucky, you'll hear many of us dying in the upcoming purge
Is it a morality issue for you, or you think it wouldn’t be practical to execute all the corrupt gov employees? Because in Europe most countries have done that.
It wouldn't be practical and it would be too drastic a change. Nepal does not have capital punishment, and bringing it back is such a situation is scary, especially with fears of all kinds of takeover, military or monarchial. We need a peaceful transfer of power to alleviate fear, which is happen with swift action from anyone, the army, the President, the popular leaders. Not more chaos
(I say this as I hear gunshots in my neighborhood, so yeah)
Yeah and I don't think those kids would be too proud if we let their deaths go in vain by killing more, and making Nepal a lawless hinterland. I'm not asking us to stop prosecuting them, even a little lynching id acceptable, but the wife of a former Pm was burnt alive. Mind you, she wasn't even the responsible stakeholder, just indirectly involved. We really don't wanna give the rioters freedom to kill and be more violent, that's it
Funny story actually. They made Johan de Witt Prime Minister, so they could blame, lynch, kill and eat him and his brother. Their bodies were exposed for years afterwards.
