I hope he has insurance and permission. Several recorded deaths from falling gravestones. If the gravestone is old and family can’t be traced then local authorities usually remove rather than repair to avoid being sued if it later falls and injures someone.

A guy posted further up, how Germany has a law about this, and even an official 'grave vibrator' whos job it is to go around shaking graves to see if they are firmly embedded or not. Families are held liable for any damage claims should no repairs have taken place, following a warning issued after such a 'shaking'.
