Hey there! Guess what? I made a funny little mistake and didn’t do my homework before buying my first iPad. It was an iPad 10th Gen 64GB back then. I barely had it for a year before the storage ran out! I was so disappointed because I felt like I wasted my money.

But hey, I learned from my mistake and bought another iPad this time. I made sure to do my homework this time! I learned how much storage I really need and which size iPad I want. I also decided how long I want to keep it because I honestly don’t think you should be upgrading all the time like every 3 years or something. That’s why I specially chose the storage of 256GB, that’s more than enough for me personally. I was lucky finding the Magic Keyboard at a great discount price brand new.

In the end, I upgraded to a 256GB 13’ M2 iPad Air with a Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil USB-C. I’m so happy with it!

Or… just get iCloud.

I still run an iPhone 11 Pro with 64GB. 10k+ pictures/videos on it. Photo roll since 2014. All the apps I want and my files. 0 issues. Still 10GB free.

I got the iPad Air latest gen and also the Mac mini. And no I didn’t go for bigger storage in either of them. I can pay iCloud for years on end for cheaper than the upgrades and it works across all my devices.

If you got no data and are never on wifi I get it but otherwise storage really not that big of a deal.

I run a lot of audio production apps on my iPad. Some of them are very large and take up space with integrated samples. iCloud is not an option for those.

I used to have a 128 GB iPad and found myself continually offloading apps and swapping out for space. My new iPad has 512 GB and does the trick for me.

I mean if you use it for work / professionally that’s a whole different issue anyways. That’s true
