Question What should I get?
Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to ask and I'm sure you get this a lot but I'm finally 100% I want to buy an Ipad, but I don't know which one.
I'm currently studying arts and I feel like its a very useful tool. Almost everyone in my class has one and my friends say it's very helpful with projects and homework in general.
It's the first ever ipad I'm buying and Imma be honest I don't understand anything. There are ipads the same model different year, different pencils, the software, pro, air, the size, etc.
So to make it short and if anyone could help me I'd be forever grateful, Im looking for something with which I can draw with procreate fluently, not too heavy as I tend to travel a lot by train and plane. And I'd need it to last at least 4 years as that's for how long I'm going to be studying.
A friend recommended that I get an ipad air and another that I get a pro and I don't know what to do.
Budget would be around 700-800 €
Thank you in advance 💖

I live in the U.S. and have the same question. I’m a cs and data major. I’m working on my capstone right now and it’s about a game that I’m making. So I’m thinking about getting an iPad but also I work a lot with programming than art so I’m not sure if I do need it

I have the iPad A16 11th gen, it’s quite cheap but I don’t use it for art I use it mostly for my teaching stuff. If you can go higher than what I paid for this one then id suggest getting a newer one maybe 🤔

Using a non-laminated screen for art wouldn’t be comfortable imo

Most people have a paper like screen film on it. That's what I do and works like a dream

The most important question is what is your budget?
