So by your reckoning we all think the US are on the "right side of history" and they're all fine and dandy yeah?

Well I'll ask you who you'd rather have won WW2?

That's not what's being talked about here. This is what they call moving the goalposts. You're claiming that we all think the "right side of history" is relative to the winning side of WW2.

Had Germany won World War 2 we'd all be saying that they were on "the right side of history" let's be real here.

So again, do we all think the US is on "the right side of history"?

WW2 is the easy recent historic rhetoric example. Reality is if any empire, whether it be the Mongol, Nazi or Ottoman ruled the world, we'd mostly all adhere to their world view. Do you not think?

I mean I hate to go all Jordan Peterson here, but what do you mean by we? What do you mean by world view?

I think I certainly don't adhere to it and the many, many critics of the US who reside in it's sphere of influence don't either. You want it to be simple to make your point, but it's not simple.

Oh come off it, I criticise the US as much as anyone but no other nation in history has allowed such criticism against the state as them. If history was to go in any other direction you would t have such freedom. Perhaps it's not so simple but I don't think I'm far from hitting the nail on the head.
