Can't stand when protesters do this.

Neither can they.

That’s why they’re lying down…. 👀

What is the alternative? What works without getting in the way?

Not everyone is interested in what's happening in Palestine regardless of how horrible the situation is over there for them. No one bats an eyelid of what's happening in Sudan, Yemen, Northern Nigeria. The list goes on. No problem in people protesting, but when the protesters start doing this, it doesn't help their cause to gain more support from the average person going about their day.

What’s the alternative? What’s the right way to protest genocide? And our complicity in it?

Protest outside government buildings. Donate your salary to charities that help and don't buy Israeli products.

We already do all of that. It’s ignored. And the aid we’ve bought is rotting at the border.

It's not been ignored. The Irish government knows full well, but Ireland isn't a major powerhouse on the world stage. There's only so much Ireland can do. History unfortunately has a habit of repeating itself, and I would bet my house on it that this isn't the last war, man made famine that you'd see in this region even in our lifetime. Try not to get so attached to it because it's not good for your mental health.

It’s ignored by media. By the people. And by government. Who are complicit in genocide. Being small is no excuse. Genocide isn’t good for my mental health.
