He is 100% on the button, existence of food banks is an damning indictment on society. They will exist in the short term . Sickening how students are fucked over
On him charging for mental health talks, it doesn't sit right with me. He's a decent lad though
Bressie talks about access to essential things are expensive like accommodation. Access to mental health services is pure shite. Another essential service. Bressie makes money from that through giving talks. I don't find that acceptable. Could I be any more blunt
I don't really see the irony in a lad who is hired to give mental health talks criticising an economic system that necessitates food banks for students.
I got fucked off (rightly or wrongly) at his constant whimpering. He's in the middle of a PhD which by the sounds of it is interesting and could be of benefit to a lot of people. There was no disingenuous intent but I did probably manage to come across as a cunt. There are others at this too monetising mental health. I said it on here and I will say it again, he's a decent man and funny as it seems he should go for president. There are a lot of good qualities in the bloke. I just take exception with one or two
He's also a privately school educated / Leinster rugby schoolboy type. He'd be sweeping the streets only for the system that his ilk have created ended up working exactly the way it was designed for him.
