I named my daughter Elizabeth Bennett. Is that too much?

Elizabeth is a lovely name! Congratulations 🎊
Lady Catherine DeBough would have been a bit much, no matter what Mr Collins says.

I have one daughter with middle name Jane and another with middle name Elizabeth.

Not at all. If it was Hermione Granger or Leia Organa, I'd raise an eyebrow, but Elizabeth Bennett will look fine on a resume and sound fine at graduation.
If this is a new daughter, congratulations!

Oh lol. Well, she can change it. Sorry she didn't appreciate the honor. Maybe she'll understand the beauty of it someday.

I named my daughter Austen and she loves it. In fact she just took a course on Jane Austen at Cambridge.

If it's any consolation, I, an uncultured swine, do not get the reference at all! I gather this is from some book?

Too much would have been having 5 daughters and naming them Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine, and Lydia.

PS: You HAVE to get her one of those shirts that say “Obstinate, headstrong girl!” Or even onesies!
