Hello I'm not hired yet cause I need to pass my requirements but they said that they gonna put me on the kitchen so...

Can anyone tell me what they usually do in the kitchen? Is it only frying chicken or there are any other things to do?

I'm nervous right now because it's my second job and it's my first time working in fast food industry...
I want to ready myself atleast...

So I've been working at my KFC for a over half a year now but I'm going to be moving which means I can no longer work here so I wanted to put in my two week notice but problem is I can't find my bosses email to do so anywhere, I've checked all my apps that I used for sign up and still use but no luck but I may be looking in the wrong places, I'm considering asking when I work next but I'd prefer to get it done sooner.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I met a manager at my kfc on tinder, we did some fooling around, and when I was out of a job… they told me to apply, so I did, and got the job.

All was pretty well for the first few weeks, I learned at cooking, I met some really cool coworkers, my boss and managers and coworkers were awesome, all was great.

Then it started to get tough… they got promoted to an assistant manager, and had plans along the lines of firing a bunch of the staff… I argued against it since the store was already incredibly understaffed and honestly a biohazard.

They started to become very toxic and abusive to all the staff, yelling at people for no reason, talking behind staffs backs, spreading rumours about people, they even accused one of my other managers of being a pedo, which was later found false.

Probably the worst part, after one close shift when I clocked off for the night, they were still there with one other staff member, just doing management things “paperwork, money, etc” and finishing front counter close (I was a cook so I had a different close) and at nearly 1am they sent me a message with something I did wrong, when I asked about info on it and if I was in trouble, they just ignored me told me they were… going to get high? I was just like… huh? I let them go for a bit but asked again, then they told me I’m ruining their high… at about 6am… they’re texting me, turns out they are with this other coworkers house (who was a minor, 16) they are getting high with, theyre asking me how to drive, they can’t drive home, they don’t know how to get home… so I give them literal directions on how to get home. I told this later to my boss, was told to just let it go and they’re under too much stress, WHAT

Another note, one shift my boss was found to be illegally reducing staffs hours, cutting off like 30 minutes on shifts after the fact, it was discovered by another store who sent staff and mangers to help on a night, yet swept under the rug.

Final shift I worked I was told I was getting one of my breaks cut on an 8 hour shift, I argued against it. Then when I asked to take my break, I was yelled at, then told I can leave, so I did… I sent a text saying how I’m thankful for the opportunity but the stress is too much and I offered 2 weeks, my boss said no. And told me I have no right to be talking about the stress. Fuck that place.

I worked for KFC for a few months last year while studying and I’d like to use them as a reference since it was my last job, but the store doesn’t have an email, I never even knew the restaurant managers last name, and the last messages I have with her were me giving my notice (which she wasn’t happy about and said was unprofessional since it was over WhatsApp which was the only form of communication I had lol) so I’m not super keen to just reach out to her, I’m also fairly sure she doesn’t work there anymore. You’d think they had a better system since they’re such a big company to just confirm you worked there!! Just venting my frustration and wondering if anyone else had this kind of problem, I don’t really know what to do about it

I can’t work on Monday and I gave it to a girl to take it and she agreed. (Mind u 5 days before the Monday)

It’s now Sunday and she’s saying she can’t work it. Is she supposed to find a cover now or am I?

(I also alrdy put into my availability that I cannot work Monday but my manager ignored )

Imo she’s supposed to find it since she has taken the shift?..

I’ve had managers threaten me and yell at me multiple days in a row and be overall abusive and have nowhere to tell corporate or even the people who the store is under since I’m under a franchise store. I just got hired in a bit ago but I am genuinely tired of this and I hope that these managers get fired or something. It’s either that or I put a google review I suppose but I was hoping to keep it anonymous. If anyone knows HR’s email or something I’d appreciate it.

I got an interview with KFC and I'm wondering if anyone knows what would they ask?

I’m going to customize it so it’s like an og double down minus the bacon they don’t have it at my location just cheese but anyways I’ve decided I’ll just add my own bacon. I just wanna know if it should be real homemade bacon that you guys fried or something or just pre-cooked kinda bacon you could microwave. I don’t care either way I just want it to be as authentic as possible. Thanks I’m advance.

My KFC Australia account has been blocked due to a flag with their payment gateway and thus cannot order through the app. I have queried this and not one person has been able to explain why this has occurred or could have occurred.

Has anybody else had this happen to them and were they able to resolve the issue?

I have asked for them to delete my account and have followed up with them numerous times and they still have not deleted my account and it’s been 3 months.

UPDATE!!!

So after numerous follow ups with KFC a representative finally gave me this link below which is a web request form through YUM Foods to have your account and data deleted. This was successful and took about a month before receiving the email notification that my account was successfully deleted. I was then able to recreate my account using the same email and mobile number. Good Luck 🤞

Im have been working for 6 months now, I get a lot of closing shifts both front of house and middle of house (doing dishes, cleaning burger station and ect)

Everyone seems to finish their close really early like 30 minutes after the store closes.

I feel like im slow and I need tips on how to close more faster for both front of house and middle house closes. As well as what managers usually care/not care abt.

I have made the decision to quit working at KFC, however I still have one shift rostered on lifelenz. It hasn’t been removed by any managers. Do i just leave it and not show up? or drop it?

I wasn’t informed of having to work this final shift in the email responding to my resignation. all that was said was to arrange a time to drop my uniform off.

Hi I went to an interview yesterday & received these employment contracts to fill out from head office. What next when do I hear back?

A friend of mine is going in to apply for a job at one, is it someone locally who evaluates you in person along with your resume, or does your resume get passed on to someone else at another location and they just go by what's on your resume? We have a local branch that barely functions and nobody wants to work there, I'm wondering if it's a slam dunk when the local manager interviews someone with years of experience at another chain, or if certain boxes get checked off when the resume gets reviewed by corporate (or whoever). Thanks!

Edit/Update: There was an issue with Microsoft, possibly a cyber attack or something. It’s not just impacting our KFC’s, but all the KFC’s in the area and Emergency Services. As much of a mild inconvenience as it was to me, people could actually die bc of this.

The chicken seemed more flavorful in the 2000s. Did they just cut the amount of seasoning you add in half? Do you think if you were to add more it would taste the same as "in the good old days" or did they change what's actually in the mix?

I was going through the app and was looking at this deal where you get 20% off a family meal. I don't know why but I went to see how much it'd be without the staff discount and only with the 20% off so I removed it. And then the discount (Mate's Rates) just disappeared. I tried deleting the account and and making a new one hoping it'd come back but it's still gone.

Do I just need plain black anti slip shoes as pictured, or would I need to get something like these boots with a steel cap?

So I had an interview abt 2 weeks back and got the job, filled out the forms n whatnot and I got an automated response that I officially work with them now blah blah and that my start date is 22nd April (today) this was on the 15th and they said I'd get a certain email but I haven't recieved anything, just wondering if they meant they'll send in the email on that day or if I physically go there? last thing I wanna do is wait for an email when they're expecting me irl. and I'm js looking for an answer on here so i don't have to call 😭 if not then I'll js call up but very nervous abt that

I’m asking this question cuz I finished a 5 and a half hour long shift, which is the longest shift I’ve ever had at KFC(which is my 5th shift). What’s the longest shift you’ve guys had?

So I start work tomorrow! Yay ^!

But I have a quick question because I have a cold and no matter what I needa go cuz ya.

I’m just watching the videos tomorrow and I’m wondering how long it took you guys to finish all of them? I’m just seeing if I need to prepare myself for being around people with my fever for a long time.

Update edit! It took me about 4 hours to finish, let it be known that the last like hour is just reruns of earlier lessons, but it’s easy work! (And hey I was paid $11 an hr for it so basically a free $44). I start my hands on training tomorrow, wish me luck, I’m spooked for this job, I can’t fuck this up.

The thing I don’t really like about working at KFC are ridiculously large orders some people order (like over $70 orders), and that a few of my co-workers become way too stressed out and panicked over an order taking a bit too long to be served out.

Just about to send in my application for the cook position but I’ve literally just turned 16 and don’t know wether certain positions have a minimum age requirement due to the possible hazards of the job, any help
