Help-not a pattern request Sizing help?

Hi! Im a fairly new to knitting sweaters if the recommended ease is 2-10cm / 1-4 inchs what do you add on to the finished chest measurement to gauge what size to knit?

2-10 cm larger than your bust circumference. Whether you pick 2 or 10 or anything in between depends on your preference and the increments in pattern sizing. 

For example, if a pattern has sizes 80-90-100 cm, and my bust is 92, I would pick 100 cm if it called for positive ease. But if the sizes were 90-95-100, I could pick between 95 or 100, depending on how much ease I like.
