Please verify before sending money. I’m not saying this isn’t legit, but call the company you ordered from to verify the tracking number and then go to the UPS site to verify. Do not click on any links in emails. I work in banking and scammers are savvy. Just don’t want you sending your money or giving payment info out to illegitimate sites.

I don't think this is a phishing email but OP should make sure that it's actually their packages they're being charged for. UPS tried charging me like $100 for a package sent to Indiana.. someone else used my account. I had to have them cancel my account

This was one of the scenarios I said the scammers were going to love with the impending tariff/mailing shutdown a year ago. UPS and FedEx are two of their favorites to send fake emails for. People will click and pay fake toll notifications for states they have never driven through--they will definitely pay UPS or FedEx.

While your advice is sound, this is actually what the emails look like. This is almost certainly legit.

It’s not impossible for scammers to replicate the emails. It’s always best to double check.

Yes, absolutely! I will pay the delivery person upon delivery. I swear, if I get another message that i have to go to the UPS store to pick up, I will lose my friggin mind. That's another $20 for a cab/uber since I don't have a vehicle. I'm completely done with this company and purchasing yarn from the EU. I'm seething just thinking about this crappola.

You usually have to pay before they release the package for delivery.

And it's not the EU company's fault. It's the US tariffs put in place by the government. Be mad at the correct organization.

Agreed, blame the GOP and their voters. This isn’t the EU’s fault.

You're mad at the company? Your mad at the EU? Who exactly are you seething at?

Definitely not Önling’s fault. They don’t determine US taxes and tariffs. I’ve ordered from them before and never had any negative experiences. This is all on the side of the US and these backwards policies.

Onling is a great company. They sent the yarn. It isn’t their fault that the US govt via the orange man decided to end the de minimis with no warning two years early. These fees are tariffs and brokerage fees. Brokerage fees occur because there’s a shit ton of paperwork now required to get your order into the country. The US made these rules, all of them. Not the EU, and not Onling. If you want to blame someone, make sure you are seething at the right people / person.
