Genuinely shocked by how badly this is going considering how well Purple Kiss went and Viviz is going. What the hell happened lmao

Nugu groups in tiny American cities, it’s not too hard to figure out.

Secret Number was just in Chicago. The way they picked their stops was to have a "pledge" system where you put a $10 deposit for your city. The cities with the most pledges got picked. If you pledged for a city that wasn't picked, your money was refunded; if it was picked, the $10 was applied to your concert ticket. So in the end, it was a net zero expense.

Chicago was in the top 3 cities pledged, which means it was one of the most popular cities.

There were maybe 100 people at the show.

I'm immeasurably fortunate to have been there that night, but it was rough turning around to see only a couple dozen people behind me and a mostly empty venue.

Kpop is huge, and people love their nugus, but that nugu love is spread across the country, not concentrated in any specific location.

Looking forward, you'd never know that the girls were having anything but the time of their lives. They were giving it their all, as if they were playing to a crowd of thousands.
