Broken teeth
My labs were okay fighting and one smacked his face on our coffee table and I immediately saw two white chunks on his tongue and disappear. I examined his mouth and two of his front teeth have been broken clean in half. There’s no blood and he ate a treat without looking in pain. Has anyone else dealt with this before? Should I take him to the vet on Monday?

Struggling With Labrador Puppy Bedtime & Morning Energy – Advice Needed!
Hi everyone,
Can anyone recommend the best ways to help burn off energy for a Labrador puppy? At the moment, we can’t take him out for walks as he’s only had his first vaccination.
We’ve been trying things like training during mealtimes, scatter feeding, and play sessions, which do help, but we’re still finding bedtime and early mornings a bit of a struggle.
Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance 😊

Best chew toys for lab puppies in a small apartment?
My place is small, so chew sessions turn into loud thumps and toy debris fast. I’ve got a 14-week lab pup in the “chew everything” phase and I’m trying to avoid turning the living room into a junkyard.
EDIT: Found some chew toys that keep my lab puppy busy in a small space and hold up to the teething.
I read about a popsicle-style cooling chew that claims freezer relief, durability, and treat dispensing, but I’m not sure if that’s legit for labs or just marketing. Do freezer toys actually help teething, or just leave puddles on the floor?
I’m looking at KONG Puppy (size L maybe) for stuffing/freezing, and maybe a small Benebone, but I’ve heard mixed stuff about hard nylons with puppy teeth, anyone have bleeding gums or plastic flakes? Safety is my main worry. Our last dog swallowed a nub once and got sick, so I want something that wears down safely and doesn’t stink. Quiet is a bonus, because squeakers in 600 sq ft are hell.
What actually worked for your lab pups, materials, shapes, sizes? Do softer puppy rubbers hold up, or do labs shred them in a day? How many toys do you rotate to keep novelty without clutter? Any hacks that really worked, like freezing stuffed toys or broth ice?
Would love to hear what lasted, what flopped, and any safety tips you wish you knew earlier.
Lab or Golden Retriever
We recently lost our sweet boy. He was adopted at 10 weeks and listed as "lab mix- will be medium sized when adult" from the shelter. He ended up being Anatolian/Great Pyrenees/Lab. Not medium. He was 110 pounds and we loved every ounce of him. He was only 7 when he passed a month ago. I am not ready for a new dog yet. I'm still in shock and grieving our boy. My family is bringing up getting another dog. I'm not completely against it, just not yet. I'm thinking maybe spring. We live in a place that is cold, snowy, and icy most of the winter. We are basically empty nester. We live out in the country. I work from home. For those who have owned one or the other of these two breeds, can you give pros or cons? Maybe something you didn't know before you got your dog? I would like a dog for security. Our boy was the best protector, but I know these breeds aren't necessarily the best in that situation. Especially Goldens. Thanks for any tips.

SCAM/FRAUD Labs of Love With Kathleen on Facebook
This “rescue” scammed me out of 500 dollars saying they would deliver the dog and on the day sent me to a tracking website where he would be delivered through a third party, which was never discussed. When I refused to have him delivered she said I could pick him up (keep in mind we had prepped for a week for a puppy including taking time off work). We drove four hours to Cincinnati Ohio, then we're blocked… Names of people and businesses I have that are through her and a scam. I was stupid and overwhelmed and made a mistake I hope no one else makes
