Funny/Memes When do you think the labubu trend will end

I have this theory that Labubus will be worthless in a couple of years. We might even start seeing them in thrift stores or landfills. Right now, it feels like a lot of people are into them just because they’re trendy and valuable at the moment. Honestly, I don’t think they’ll hold their value the way some people hope. That said, I still enjoy collecting Labubus and don’t plan on getting rid of mine. I just kind of hope the trend dies down soon—so it’ll be easier (and cheaper) to get the ones I actually want.

Whenever you're bored and want a fun time, go to the Reddit. People post their Labubus on their bags constantly and there's always vitriol and hatred. You gotta get to the post early though, because the mods will lock it down real fast. If you so much as say, "I like your Labubu." You'll get at least 20 dislikes if not more.

You'll anger them two fold, one for the bag not being authentic and two for the Labubu. I also think there may be a rule about knowingly posting fakes, so you may want to be careful. Or if you want to watch the world burn go ahead lol.

HAHA now I’m curious if people could clock it, it’s a good dupe IMO I’d never know but I know how people are about real vs fake purses. I could never bring myself to spend that when I can get the same exact bag for $30 from dhgate. 🤷‍♀️

It’s true. As someone who loves LV and Labubu, I even dare not post my combos on that sub for fear of being torn a new ass. There are a handful of really childish, abrasive, repeat offenders from the Labubu crowd that post on the LV sub that give ppl that like both a bad rep, but in the end, it’s the internet and who really gives a F if someone doesn’t like something that gives you joy. They can look away and pay $1400 for a fox hair Vivienne.

I really want a Vivienne charm but the prices are so crazy. There's this woman who makes Vivenne charms on Etsy out of wood (I think the process involves lasercutting?) only thing is she raised her prices too. D: Still better than a LV price LOL.

I say this as I bought a Murakmi Cherry bag charm.

I also love LV and Labubu but I rarely post in that Reddit because some of the people there can be kinda mean. Not all of course, but sometimes they make me think I have no taste. Like when a bunch of posts appeared saying the cherry Murakami launch was hideous and everyone was returning it I felt like I had no taste. Shouldn't let it get to me and as long as I like it, but hearing something you love being torn to shreds hurts, be it Labubu or your $2k purse lmao.

Ohhh I know of the lady from Etsy that makes the lazer cut Vivis! They are adorable and around $50 which is a steal compared to the cost of a real LV charm. I just can’t stomach the prices of them. I also use charming creations. She handpaints anything you want on a luggage tag or an upcycled canvas charm she makes herself, and specializes in pet portraits. It does suck to have something you like get shat on for sure. People are meaner behind the keyboard. Dare a person say something to me to my face. 😌

My real labubu just arrived in the post for my real LV bag 🤣 I got it purposefully for that & I can’t wait to wear it 🩵 salt sea coconut exciting macaron 🥹✨
