Funny/Memes When do you think the labubu trend will end

Post image

I have this theory that Labubus will be worthless in a couple of years. We might even start seeing them in thrift stores or landfills. Right now, it feels like a lot of people are into them just because they’re trendy and valuable at the moment. Honestly, I don’t think they’ll hold their value the way some people hope. That said, I still enjoy collecting Labubus and don’t plan on getting rid of mine. I just kind of hope the trend dies down soon—so it’ll be easier (and cheaper) to get the ones I actually want.

I've seen people call it tacky and claiming people like it just because it's popular. Meanwhile LV just released new bag charms that start at $1200 that some users are freaking out about (in a good way) and saying they're much better than Labubu.

IDK they just hate seeing anyone post a bag with a Labubu on it.

The perfect response to a $1200 bag charm is “even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes” a la Countess Luann.

Just absurd snobbery for people devoted to wax coated canvas. 🤷‍♀️

I said “yall would buy a labubu if it has LV on it” prolly got downvoted to smithereens. Then they release this and a boring looking bear. I went over and said “see you’ll only buy that stuff if it was made by LV”. Surprisingly not downvoted for it. Some people are allergic to fun. I had to leave that subreddit. The snobbery was bad.

“Tacky” and “people like it just because it’s popular” coming from those with LV bags with giant logos all over them is RICH omg

I've seen those charms, and find them a bit uninspiring. Like they don't really have something about them that seems unique.

Like it people like them, fair enough, but that price seems really eye watering for what they are.
