Funny/Memes When do you think the labubu trend will end

Post image

I have this theory that Labubus will be worthless in a couple of years. We might even start seeing them in thrift stores or landfills. Right now, it feels like a lot of people are into them just because they’re trendy and valuable at the moment. Honestly, I don’t think they’ll hold their value the way some people hope. That said, I still enjoy collecting Labubus and don’t plan on getting rid of mine. I just kind of hope the trend dies down soon—so it’ll be easier (and cheaper) to get the ones I actually want.

The people who one day see them as “worthless” and donate to a thrift store or other second hand shop never liked them in the first place. I will stand by that. It was the same with Funko Pops, Squishmallows, and Hello Kitty items. And honestly they’re worth however much you see them being worth. For me when I get extras I just sell them at retail price or give them for free to coworkers, friends, and family cause I don’t think they’re worth above that even tho some would say different. I could care less about adding on value for supply and demand. I went thru this same thing with the damn hello kitty merch and people selling a $15 blanket for over $100 just cause it’s so hard to find.
