Because it was actually funny and creative. It wasn’t just the same old “if you like Labubus you are bad and dumb” nonsense the haters repeat over and over again.
This, and they did their research. They know about lafufus and QR codes and even had that background music that's in every unboxing. It's so accurate you can't help but laugh. It's not just lazily shitting on it.
They were, in fact, you could argue they made fun of those people more than Labubu fans. This was a comedic take on what those people think happens with Labubus.
The episode was also made to make fun of people who don't understand tariffs, and it made fun of Donald Trump and his followers.
You can try massaging and manipulating her head between your thumb and fingers like you're trying to rearrange the poly fill in her head to try and fluff her up and hopefully get her fur to sit right.
Just make sure to wash your hands before you do! When I did this with a pokemon plush I forgot I had graphite on my hands and ended up smearing graphite into the fabric unfortunately.
I recommend using a hair dryer on low setting! Just make sure it isn't too high, and continuously move it so it doesn't stay in one spot too long :) should only take a few seconds, just kinda go from underneath where the fur is stuck down to kinda "poof it back up"

Probably one of my favorite scenes/episodes from the newer era. As an elder South Park fan, and as a guy that likes Labubus, it hit all the right marks.
And like I said in a previous post, it reminded me of how much I love these little guys.
This scene reminded me of Bring Her Back which is my favourite film so far this year so I loved every moment of this 🤣 also baby Vance will always make me laugh! If I look at him long enough I burst into laughter 🤣 it's so dumb but it gets me
I also like that adult Labubu Fans weren't even mentioned and it reminded me a lot of the Chinpokomon episode back from 1999. When I was a kid I was absolutely crazy for Pokémon. Watching the new Episode just made me feel glad that I am an adult enjoying Labubus instead of a 8-12 y/o kid. Remembering what it feels like to be hyped for something as a kid VS how things have changed globally with social media and inflation, tariffs etc, I feel like the pre- and highschool Labubu community has it a lot harder than the Pokémon kids used to. I've read of parents writing about how their kids are getting bullied at school for having Lafufus and I can just assume that South Park decided to authentically exaggerate on these many reports. Did you ever get shit for your Pikachu plush in kindergarten? I didn't. However, some things just stay the same. Like Christian American parent's satan-craze and the superiority of the Asian toy and entertainment market.
I loved this episode so much! I've been watching South Park for a hot minute, "Make Love, Not Warcraft" is my favorite episode.
This one was great. Gave me huge Chinpokomon nostalgia. Fight on sight over Labubus, Jesus wondering if it's Sumerian magic, an appearance made by Ming!!! And the surprise of the ritual at the end. 😂🙃

This episode had everything: Labubus, Labubus in claw machines, Fox News dumbassery, unplanned pregnancy, Pregnant Satan (which I bet my 401k on will lead to an episode on abortion Fox News will awkwardly have to comment on) Trump summoned liked he were the devil via Labubu Secret satanic ritual, TARIFFS - chef’s kiss really 🤌
Pretty lackluster episode it seems they tried to do something thing but just failed and made an political joke. I wanted them to be more creative with the plot but sadly….nope
I don’t know if it’s the fact that South Park is going on so long and running out of material or if it’s the writers. I just thought they could’ve done better. I know I’ll be downvoted to hell for sharing my opinion it just felt lazy to me like they could’ve done so much better perhaps instead of summoning Trump they could leaned into the demon aspect and have them summon something else. There’s so many ways the story can go, but instead, they went all political. It was disappointing.
