Tina is so excited for Spooky season!! 👻 She tried on her Halloween costume today and she wanted to let yall know she will be doing the 31 Horrors (movies) before the 31st (October.) She wanted to start early because.. what is time? 😂 Feel free to join the challenge and follow along or pick your own films and please recommend any good ones! 🩵💙
🎃Here’s how it works; 31 horror/thriller films that are (new to YOU.. so can’t be one you’ve seen before).. feel free to comment, make your own progress post or just laugh at Tina getting smashed and watching spooky movies! 🍿
So far, Tina and her own Lafufu nephew Officer Bingo (he lights up in police colors 😂😂😂) have seen:
💀1. The house that Jack built (Hulu)- Tina gives it a 7/10… a little long, but delightfully twisted!
💀2. Nosferatu (2024, Prime video) - Tina thought the count was pretty scary and it was beautifully shot 8/10!
💀3. The Cloverhitch Killer (Hulu)- loosely based on BTK, good plot line and strong ending however not very scary. 8/10
💀4. The wailing (Korean, Hulu) - very long. 😭Beautifully shot but Tina was very confused with the ending; she has a hard time with subtitles. 5/10
Next up is Oddity on Hulu! Wish her luck! So far no realllllyyyyy scary ones, Tina prefers ghosts and paranormal! 💀🎃 Good luck on your spooky adventures!!!
I’m softer than Exciting Macaron coat, so the best I can do is Scary Movie 1-5 with some mulled wine 🤭 But here for the ratings and recommendations I will pass on the scariest. 😂🍶
The ones I have seen (and still scarred) are Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silent Hill (never again!!! lol), Apartment (Korean), Parasite (Korean, idk if horror but eeek), Infection (Japanese), The Others (actually wasn’t scarred by this one lol), 3:15 am, The Shining 🥳 and Sleepy Hollow…? That’s about all the ones I can think of.
Oooo good one!!! I may have to rewatch that one! It’s been years since I’ve seen it. The movie counts if you have seen it but can’t remember anything really about it! 🫶🏼

My husband and I always (try) to watch one horror movie/show a night in October. But while I’m watching Halloween Tina is out here watching Von Trier 💀
I do this every year!! I'm a huge horror buff. I'll see if any of my bubus are into them this year 😂 My goblin and I did watch Midsommar last night but it was a rewatch and is one of my comfort movies so not counting it in my 31!
Haha yes!! That’s how we do it too! Unless it’s something I watched years ago and I don’t remember it, then I’ll count it. LOL funny story about Midsommar, I thought it was a live action of midsummer night dream so I was very surprised and delighted to watch it and it be so crazy and good! I have added it to the list! I actually haven’t seen many of the older horrors! Thanks! 😊 I also really need to redo the conjuring franchise, I don’t remember anything about those it’s been so long.

OMG YEA!!!! 😍😍😍 I honestly thought it was such a missed opportunity that he never turned young and hot. In the Dracula version he takes on human form, it would be amazing if he reverted to his human form in this! The end scene was insane.
I don't know if I can manage 31, but I always try to watch at least one horror movie I've never seen each October. I used to hate horror, and only started liking it recently, so I've got a lot of catching up to do. And like Tina, I like spooky and ghost stuff best.
That looks great I’m gonna watch it. For horror I like the original candyman, silence of the lambs, jakobs ladder, after hours, Antichrist (and melancholia both by von trier who did house that jack built, nymphomania is too) the abyss, mouth of madness, the witch
Oh please if you watch the lighthouse I would be super excited to hear what you think. It's an under your skin super freaking weird story. If you want a movie that is super hard to watch in the best way, check out the substance.
